Fresh roasted coffee first started being produced in Superior, Wisconsin in the early 1800s. The coffee was grown on large plantations by the local indigenous people and then traded with other parts of the United States. In 1876, a group of Swedes settled in Superior and started to produce their own fresh roasted coffee. By 1890, the production had increased so much that it became necessary to build a roasting plant. The new roast was made using whole beans from different farms in Superior and also from Chicago. In 1912, a new company was founded which exported its coffee to countries all over the world. Today, fresh roasted coffee is one of America's most popular exports and it is still being produced in Superior today.

Superior, Wisconsin is a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,746 at the 2010 census. The name Superior comes from the Ojibwe word "sauder" meaning "high water." The first settler in what is now Superior was Nicholas Parkin in 1837. In 1870, a post office called Superior was established, but it did not take off and no mail arrived there for several years. Finally, on December 12, 1875, the post office moved to its present location; it served as the seat of Sheboygan County until 1898 when sheborough county was formed. The first school in Superior was built in 1859 and operated by Mrs. John Houghton and her three students. A second school opened in 1865 by Simeon Peterson and also used Mrs. Houghton's classroom among other resources. In 1892 a third school opened with $2 from Lucy Snyder to serve children of farmers living near Warsaw Junction on the east side of Sheboygan County. That school closed circa 1951 because of lack of pupils and money In 1907–08 an addition to the town square were erected for use as an ice cream parlor known as 'Dentist's Delight.' This business operated until 1951 when it burned down due to negligence on the part of employees who left their food out unattended during a cold winter night (a common occurrence then). -Superior also had its own newspaper which published every Wednesday morning from 1889 until 1957 - 'The Sentinel'. It ceased publication pending merger with another paper into one organization

Superior, Wisconsin is a small town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin that was founded in 1847 by Germans. It is located on the Fox River near Superior National Forest, and has a population of about 1,100 people as of 2010. The town is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The first settlers to the area were attracted by its rich mining and timber resources. In 1847, three men from Superior led by John Pohl established the first post office in what is now Superior. The original buildings were built on what are now North First Street and North Second Avenue. In 1850, two more pioneers arrived from Germany and founded West Bend (now Waukesha). By 1860, there were four posts in Superior: Easton, Lincoln, West Bend and Green Bay (later Racine). The only thing that remains of those early buildings are foundations at First and Second Streets today. In 1865, when Wisconsin became a U.S. state, Superior became part of its new government under Governor Julius Ewingtitler with a population of just 10 people. The following year saw another growth spurt with the opening of several small businesses including lumberyards and breweries along with larger mills like Consolidated Mining Company which processed coal for local use until it went bankrupt in 1901 In 1890 the townsite was granted township status making it an official incorporated community within Madison County In 1909 Superior applied for incorporation into Milwaukee County but was denied because there were not enough residents to form an election board On January 1st 1912 Superior achieved cityhood through annexation by Milwaukee after successful referendum vote held at their polls Through many years since then; various renovations have been made to various parts of town including re-opening Main Street as an shopping center with restaurants/cafés etc., construction of new high school building which opened in fall 2015 named after Rev Dr Martin Luther King Jr., most recently complete addition to existing courthouse complex renamed “Supreme Court”
In 1836, the first public school in Superior was opened. The school district was organized in 1839 and soon became one of the largest in the state. In 1863, Superior won its first state championship in wrestling. In 1922, it became the first city to be incorporated in Wisconsin.
