The parents started the store with just a few beans and cups of coffee. They roasted and sold their own beans until they had a large enough inventory to open their own shop. Today, there are several different coffee roasters in Suamico,Wisconsin including: The Swedish Cappuccino Company, Dutch Bros., Peet’s Coffee & Tea, Joe’s Coffee House, and Crown Roasters.

Suamico is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin, located on the Fox River. The population was 1,527 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Rock County metropolitan area. The first European explorers to visit what is now Suamico were French traders in 1636 and 1637. Captain Pierre La Salle and his forces were exploring the region when he came across a group of Iroquois Indians led by their chieftain, Cornouaille. La Salle found them living peacefully near Green Bay before he killed all but one of them for sport and took their supplies back to France. In 1765, John Marshall founded Marshalltown on the eastern edge of present-day Suamico when he surveyed land grant 4 miles wide and 2 miles long from where the river meets Lake Michigan. The town was named after him because he donated land for it and served as its first treasurer. The first post office in Suamico was established in 1825; it was moved to its current location in 1868. The town originally had two stores, but they closed around 1870 due to low trade volumes along the river which caused competition among small towns along that route for jobs with larger ones upstream. In 1872, a flour mill opened in Suamico which became one of the early successful mills within Milwaukee County; it continued operation until 1984 when it went bankrupt due to overcapacity and lack of customers coming downriver during bad weather conditions caused by global warming). Today only traces remain from those days including some foundations from what used to be the mill buildings and a foundation from an old lumber yard next door that still stands today as a reminder of what once flourished there (the mill also producedjenis made out of tree bark which were popular at that time). The railroad also brought jobs to the community and helped to develop the economy of Suamico. In 1934,Suamico became part of Wisconsin Rapids County and has remained an important community within that county ever since.

The first Suamico post office was established in 1892. It served the village of Suamico until 1903. The present post office was constructed in 1903.
