The company produced coffee for many American military bases across the country. In 1949, Shorewood Coffee Company merged with Northwest Coffee Corporation which made it one of the largest coffee companies in the United States. It remained an independent company until 1984 when it merged with Starbucks Corporation. Today, Shorewood Coffee Company produces over two million pounds of delicious ground coffee every day for residents of Milwaukee, Racine, Green Bay, Menomonee Falls, Oshkosh, Sheboygan and most recently Waukesha County!

Shorewood is a small town in the town of Green Bay, Wisconsin. The population was 1,582 at the 2000 census. It is located on the shore of Lake Michigan and near the city of Green Bay. Shorewood is part of the Fox Valley region. The first Europeans to visit what is now Shorewood were traders and soldiers from France in 1673-1674 during their war with England. French explorer Jacques Marquette visited the area in 1679 while exploring northern Wisconsin and named it after Saint John's Costello, an Italian Jesuit missionary who had also been to that area some years earlier. In 1764, General George Washington passed through this area while campaigning against Great Britain in Canada and recommended its inclusion within the United States as part of Northwest Territory. In 1835, following Indiana's admission into the Union as a state, Green Bay became one of its first cities when it was merged with Milwaukee County. At that time, Shorewood was platted as a village by Horace Greeley for his own land grants which he received from President Andrew Johnson in 1865-1867. The village then grew rapidly due to waves of immigrants coming to America during those years: Poles (1848), Swedes (1860), Irish (1871), Germans (1914-1915), Italians (1920s) and Japanese Americans (1945). In 1978, Shorewood voters adopted a new form of government known as “direct democracy” which gave residents more direct control over their lives than ever before through referenda and elections held every three years or so. That year also saw other changes when Michael Jager became Mayor after serving two terms as Deputy Mayor under previous Mayor Ed Sauterman; Jager brought attention to issues such as homelessness and crime rates in Shorewood while keeping an open mind towards community involvement projects such as beautifying local streets each summertime called "Community Days." Nowadays, with more attention being paid to environmentalism than ever before since Hurricane Sandy caused widespread damage throughout New York City last September – including extensive flooding across much of northwest Wisconsin – many people are beginning to see Harborfronte Beach Resort & Marina as something not just a destination but an important step forward for restoring waterfront communities like ours around world renowned Bayside Park & Harborfronte Estates adjacent thereto - all without taking away any jobs! Shorewood, Wisconsin is a small town in the far northwest corner of Wisconsin. It was first settled in 1836 by farmers from Illinois and Minnesota. The town was named after John Shore, one of the original settlers. Shorewood developed as a small lumber town until the early 1960s when its population dropped to about 100 people. In the late 1960s and 1970s, Shorewood started to experience increased development due to its proximity to Green Bay and other major metropolitan areas. As a result, Shorewood's economy has diversified over time and it now has a variety of businesses including an elementary school, a library, two churches, and several restaurants. The history of Shorewood began with four families who arrived in 1836 on the ships "Alaska" and "Doris". The families were led by Isaac Hecker who bought land near what is now the center of Shorewood from Chief Wabasha. Hecker founded the village of White Earth on his farm north of today's town square. In 1839, Hecker married Maria Lappin which added another family to his new community. After Maria died in childbirth in 1840, Hecker hired Johan Ludvig Bemelmans as head forester for his new village. Bemelmans would play an important role in developing both shoreline property within present-dayshorewood as well as developing many early industry initiatives such as mills that processed lumber from area forests prior to being shipped off downriver to be finished into building blocks like woodframe houses or skyscrapers (such as those seen at Milwaukee County Fairgrounds). In 1851, Jens Jensen purchased some land east of today's shoreline from Chief Wabasha for $4 per acre ($40 per lot). This purchase protected much later part of present day shoreline extending inland upriver from where Wabasha had granted hunting rights back in 1792 (although this grant had not been actually confirmed until after Jens Jensen had acquired it). With this addition to their holdings Jens Jensen became known as 'Jensen Brothers'. Over time most members of this family tree have passed away but descendants still live scattered aroundWisconsin including instances hereabouts; your grandfather may have been living on our street since before World War II! With increasing evidence that timber prices were starting to decline throughout much Midwest America during this time period; local entrepreneurs decided they would do something about it even if it meant starting their own business outside their home state or region - something called 'outside usbasing'. So beginning with just three men - Aiden Olson (owner/operator), Danish Mikkelsen (owner/operator/rapper) & Peter Bergquist (operator) - all located inside what is now downtownshoreweston they leased space at 711 N Main Street NW(later changed 2 times) before opening their doors for business November 1st 1889...this marks the beginningofthe modern era forshoreweston! This pioneering spirit would continue throught he restoveland years with various owners taking over& expanding operations until finally current owner Dennis Kieselstein took over operations completey defining shoreweston's current identity;a place where you can find us every day!
