Coffee has been a part of the New Berlin, Wisconsin community for over 100 years. In that time, coffee has become an important part of the community's culture and economy. The first recorded mention of coffee in New Berlin is from 1868. That year, John D. Rockefeller bought 10 acres of land in the city to set up a processing plant for beans. The first commercial production started in 1880 and continued until 1985 when it was discontinued due to the cost of equipment. Today, there are numerous coffee shops and cafes located throughout the city. Some of these establishments date back to before World War II when soldiers were stationed in town for their barracks to Garrison Coffee Company on State Street. Today, Garrison Coffee Company is home to several different businesses including Bistro du Moulin (now known as Starbucks) which opened on May 26th, 1941; Pizzeria Paradiso which opened on October 20th, 1955; and Café du Nord (now known as Dutch Bros.) which opened on December 6th, 1954. These establishments have contributed greatly to the cultural life within New Berlin since they have served as places where everyone can find something new and interesting to eat or drink each day. Some famous coffee shops include Starbucks - founded by Seattle-based Tim Hortons co-founder Jeraldine Mercer - that has been located at 901 Wabash Avenue since 1971; Dutch Bros., which moved from its original location behind First National Bank into what is now City Hall Park in 1984; Peet's Coffee & Donuts at 375 N Main Street became a national chain in 1990; Dunkin' Donuts - founded by Danone founder George Dickenson - began operations at 511 S Milwaukee Avenue in 1974; and Einstein Bros.' Bagels at 246 E First Ave became a national chain with its first store open in 1978. Each establishment has had its own unique flavorprofile that sets it apart from other stores within its genre or industry classifying it as one specific type of shop (e.g., Starbucks offers drip coffee while Dutch Bros./Peet's focuses more exclusively on pastries). A recent addition to this beloved community institution list is Green Machine Coffee Cooperative - established on January 1st, 2015 by employees at three local pharmacies: Walgreens Pharmacy (1523 N Broadway), CVS Pharmacy (3100 W Capitol Drive) and Rite Aid Pharmacy (5253 US Highway 12). This cooperative provides fresh roasted java daily along with milk options such as almond milk or soy milk purchased directly from their farmers during harvest season all while providing customers with member-exclusive discounts off their purchase totals!

New Berlin, Wisconsin is a city in the U.S. state of Wisconsin and the county seat of Dane County. The population was 54,824 at the 2010 census. It is located in the Great Lakes region and is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. New Berlin was founded on August 24, 1836 by German immigrants who arrived in what is now northeastern Wisconsin as part of the Second Great Migration from Germany. The city became a capital city in 1847 when it was chartered as Racine with a population of only 60 people. The first municipal government included five men: John Davenport, Benjamin Fenton, Jacob Hahnemann, Gottlieb Pabst and Simon Noyes. In 1854, Racine annexed neighboring towns of Glendale and Auburn to form a new municipality with a population of over 1,000 people; this municipality would be renamed New Berlin on January 1, 1885 after the city's incorporation into Dane County as one unit under one government structure for all residents regardless of race or ethnicity (though certain suburbs within New Berlin continued to be administered separately). In 1893-94 new streets were built through out town connecting several old farms into one small grid system which would remain unchanged until 1950 when it was torn down and replaced by Interstate 94 following an urban renewal initiative spearheaded by then-Mayor Edward Byrne. The original streets are still visible today including State Street which runs through downtown along I-94 before turning north to cross Lake Michigan near Waukesha where it joins another old street called Dearborn which runs east-west across campus towards downtown Milwaukee proper

New Berlin was founded in 1854 as the town of New Berlin on the southern border of present-day Wisconsin. The town grew rapidly due to its location at the junction of two wagon trails, and by 1860 it had a population of about 200 people. In 1872, New Berlin became the capital of what was then called Dakota Territory. There were several attempts to make new Berlin an official city, but it never gained enough support. In 1907, however, Mayor John Cavanaugh recommended that New Berlin be made the seat of a new county government in southeastern Wisconsin which would include all of present-day Milwaukee County. The proposal was accepted and New Berlin became the county seat. One of the first things that New Berlins did when they got their new county seat was to build a courthouse and jail. They also designed and built a schoolhouse and other public buildings. Over time, NewBerlin became one of the most important towns in southeastern Wisconsin because it had a strong economy and good transportation infrastructure. It also remained an important center for education because many students who attended schools in neighboring towns moved to Milwaukee or Chicago after getting their degrees from nearby universities. Today, much like its predecessor back when it first started out as just a small town on the banks of the Muddy River, NewBerlin is still an active community with plenty going on both inside and outside its walls! Some recent highlights have included being selected as one of WisDot's "micro communities" for growth; becoming home to Minuteman Park; hosting numerous festivals throughout year; becoming part ofthe Twin Cities Metro Area; and having played host to several major sporting events such as The Super Bowl XLVI Championship Game and The World Cup Qualifier!

Fitzpatrick as a port for the transportation of goods from nearby Menomonee Falls. It grew quickly, becoming a major center for agriculture and industry before becoming an important bedroom community for Green Bay. New Berlin was incorporated as a city on November 5, 1911. The population of New Berlin peaked at over 100,000 in the 1920s, but declined during the Great Depression and World War II. In the 1990s, it experienced a revitalization process that saw growth in businesses, technology firms and professional services. Today, New Berlin remains an important cultural and economic center within the town of Green Bay with a population of around 26,000 residents
