Monomonee Falls is a small town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin. The population was 1,569 at the 2010 census. It is adjacent to Menomonee Lake on the east side of the falls and to Racine County on the west side. Monomonee Falls was first established in 1836 as part of what would become Racine County. In 1868, it became part of Milwaukee County and has remained there since then. The falls were named for Menomonee, a small river in central Wisconsin that flows through Racine and Milwaukee counties before emptying into Menomonee Lake.
