The Menomonee Falls Army Garrison, which was established in 1851, played a significant role in the history of Wisconsin. The Garrison was responsible for providing military support to the government during the American Civil War and later served as a training ground for Wisconsin troops. In 1927, the Garrison was disbanded and its assets were donated to the Wisconsin State Historical Society. Today, the Garrison is open to visitors who can explore its exhibits and artifacts.

Menomonee Falls is a small town in the town of De Pere, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,827 at the 2000 census. Menomonee Falls is located in the Menomonee River valley and is part of the Milwaukee metropolitan area. The village of Menomonee Falls was first settled by Dutch settlers in 1792. The name Menomonee comes from two French words meaning "the falls" and "place." The original falls were about upstream from where present-day Menomonee Falls stands. In 1853, John Davenport built a dam on the stream to create what is now known as Dam Road. He also created a small community around his mill that became known as Davenportville after him. In 1855, Augustus Belcher established a sawmill on the river near present-day downtown Menomonee Falls. This mill continued to operate until it closed in 1954. In 1865, Isaac Medary erected a gristmill on the river near today's intersection of State Highway 9 and County Highway E6 (now County Highway W). This mill continued to operate until it closed in 1966. In 1872, George Stephenson founded Village Green for businessmen living within walking distance of his new flour mills at North Avenue and Niles Street in downtown Menomonee Falls. This village failed but Stephenson reestablished it as Village Green Racetrack on National Forest property east of downtown during World War I to serve American soldiers quartered there while they fought overseas. The racetrack remained open until 1927 when it was converted into an airfield used by military planes throughout World War II before becoming an amusement park again during the late 1980s and 1990s The men who foundedMENOMONEE FALLS began developing this place back in 1792... even back then some people knew this would be big because we had lots of water! It started off with just 2 families (Swartzel & Rankin) renting out space for 3 weeks up top so they could get their start with farming

They typically last around 10 years if maintained properly! Menomonee Falls is a small town in the northwest corner of Wisconsin, United States. It is located on the Menomonee River, about 12 miles (19 km) west of Green Bay. The name Menomonee comes from the Ojibwe word menomi, meaning "the falls." The falls are a natural waterfall that forms within an artificial gorge carved by the Menomonee River. The first European to visit Menomonee Falls was Jean Nicolet in 1634. He called it "Falls of Orinoco" because he thought the fall was downriver from where he was exploring in Canada. In 1795, French trader and explorer Jacques Marquette explored and mapped most of what is now Wisconsin before going southward along the current route of the Interstate 80 freeway in 1849. He named one part of his journey "The Great Menomonee Fall," after his home village near Montreal, Quebec, Canada. In 1824 John Cranch built a mill on the river at present-day downtown Menomonee Falls for grinding flour for nearby farmers and their livestock; this mills remain in operation today as Irrigation District No. 2's Mills Landing Dam Project Office Complex. In 1851–52 James Wirt founded Wirt's Store which became one of Green Bay's early commercial enterprises; it still operates as a general store today with over 120 employees and dominates Main Street between First Avenue and State Street in downtown Green Bay. During World War II local war production activity at Wirt's Store led to its designation as an Armoury Storage Garage #3 during munitions rationing that began on September 25th 1944 until May 1945 when all stores were closed due to lack of supplies; however, some armaments were stored at Wirt's Store until 1951 when they were moved into storage adjacent to Red Arrow Arsenal complex south of town). In 1898 Menomonee Falls officially became a city under control of Milwaukee County when it was incorporated as Racine; Racine had annexed portion of neighboring Kenosha County earlier that year pursuant to then- county law establishing cities within Milwaukee County limits subject only to powers granted by statute or ordinance conferred upon such municipalities by virtue thereof including power to extend boundaries up or downstream from streams or rivers so long as their boundaries did not intersect those established by said counties for judicial purposes only—a power which Kenosha County never exercised beyond east-west streets connecting its two townships (Kenosha Township north side being Reserve Township east side). By 1907 Racine had annexed portions adjacent to both Kenosha Township north side (including much territory lying within our present day downtown) and Brownstown Township (south side), but no part lay within our present day downtown—a situation resulting from then-Municipal Law §107(6) providing that each municipality should have exclusive authority “to annex any land contiguous thereto” if such annexation would benefit either party “either politically or economically” according to section 101(2)(A)Statute Of Incorporation [of consolidated City Of Racine]. On March 15th 1912 Mayor Geddes authorized annexation into Our Town proper—i.e., our present day downtown—of all territory lying eastward abutting our alley running northeasterly through Our Town thence northeastward across State Street into Brownstown Township including almost all territory lying withinOurTown proper since then known as East Side Annexation Development Authority v Joseph Pabey et al.; see also note below regarding organized crime activities conducted outSIDEDowntownAnnexation Development Authority vJoseph Pabey et al..
