The Menasha Coast Guard Museum is a nonprofit organization that was founded in 1961. The museum has collection of over 2,000 items related to the coast guard. The museum is open every day from 9am-5pm. Admission is free for all visitors. The museum also has an exhibit on the history of the coast guard in Menasha and surrounding areas. In addition, there are several exhibits about different types of Coast Guard vehicles and vessels used in patrolling the local waters. The Menasha Coast Guard Museum was established to preserve and share the history of the Menasha Coast Guard Department with future generations. To date, this department has been responsible for providing security for more than 12,000 residents along Wisconsin’s western coast. This includes patrols throughoutMenasha, Racine, Fox Point, Sturgeon Bay and many other communities located along Lake Michigan or its estuaries. Some of the most significant moments in our department’s history include assisting during World War II; guarding against piracy during both Vietnam and Hurricane Katrina; participating in Operationiegade; responding to flooding in WI (2011); working together with US Customs Service to secure cargo at Milwaukee Harbor during Superstorm Sandy; as well as numerous other responsibilities ensuring public safety on Wisconsin’s coastline!

Menasha is a town in the Milwaukee County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 7,812 at the 2010 census. Menasha is part of the Green Bay metropolitan area and is the home of Lambeau Field football stadium and FirstEnergy Stadium. The menasha post office was established in 1879. Menasha High School began operations in 1904. Menasha-Wrightville College has been a program of the University of Wisconsin–Madison since 1911. In 1924, Menasha became one of four towns to form the Village of West Allis which would serve as its own government with its own police force and fire department; this arrangement lasted until 1957 when West Allis disbanded and all its municipalities were merged into Milwaukee County as part of that county's official name change from Racine to Milwaukee. In 1954, Menasha-Wrightville College opened an undergraduate business school known as Wright-Patterson Business Institute (later renamed Wright-Patterson State University). In 1961, it became Wright-Patterson Air Force Base School Of Defense Technology before finally being renamed Wright-Patterson National Security Agency Technical Institute in 2003 after Agency head George Tenet named him Director for Intelligence Community Management at NSA HQ during his tenure there from 1992 to 1996. In 2009/2010, due to budget cuts by then Governor Scott Walker and later President Barack Obama's stimulus package – WPI closed its doors effective September 10th following multiple lawsuits brought against it by alumni – most assets including buildings were sold off to become part of Fox Valley Park near Appleton where currently KFC offers training programs for their employees there related to food safety & hygiene The village had also planned on building a new library but those plans have also stalled due to lack of financial support or interest from either state or federal government officials while private donations have continued to flow into the small community making possible construction on a new library that will open in 2020 once funding becomes available once again thanks largely to donations made online through fundraisers such as GoFundMe

Menasha is located on the eastern edge of Racine County and is bordered by the towns of Marinette and Spooner to the north, Herkimer to the east, White Earth to the south, and Appleton to the west. The first settler in Menasha was James Haggerty who arrived in 1847. The town was named after Menasha Creek which ran through it. A post office called Menasha was established in 1851, and remained in operation until 1959. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of , of which is land and is water. As of 2000 census data, there were 2,569 people living in Menashatownship: 1,023 households out of which 36% had children underthe age of 18 living with them; 74% were married couples living together; 5% had a female householder with no husband present; and 10% were non-families. 30%of all households were made up of individuals and 9% had someone living alone who was 65 years old or older. The average household size was 2.40 and the average family size was 2.94
