The plane had been donated by Captain Craig Wehner, who served as commanding officer of an HH-60G Dolphin helicopter squadron assigned to Sector 8j, headquartered at Elkhorn AFB in Milwaukee. 2) 2007 – A KC-135 Stratotanker donated by Air Mobility Command was used for a fly-away presentation at the Manitowoc County Airport during National Defense Exercise (NDEX). This exercise is conducted every two years and features missions such as weather reconnaissance, intercepting enemy bombers and fighter planes, and providing humanitarian assistance. The Stratotanker is also capable of conducting search and rescue operations when needed. 3) 2008 – A Lockheed Littoral Combat Ships USS Michigan (LCS 9) was gifted to Manitowoc County by then Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevich. The ship was delivered on Valentine's Day eve and spent four days being unloaded at River Park Marina in Sheboygan before its initial use during NDEX training scenarios off Monona Island near Green Bay. It later transported Naval Surface Warfare Center Antietam battle group commander Rear Admiral John Richardson back to his home state after their victory over Syrian forces in that year's Operation Neptune's Spear off Hormuz Straits on October 20th. 4) 2009 – An EA-6B Prowler airplane from Marine Aircraft Group 1 (MAG 1), based at Marine Corps Recruit Depot Miramar north of San Diego, California was gifted to Manitowoc County by then US Senator Russ Feingold along with $5 million worth of military hardware including 101st Fighter Squadron F/A-18E/Fs Hornets acquired from Saudi Arabia in exchange for cooperation against Osama bin Laden’s Al Qaeda network; this event marked only the second time an EA-6B had been deployed outside North America since its introduction into service more than 30 years earlier! The bird received additional modifications which included installation of new avionics and communications gear allowing it to be flown autonomously without human guidance while performing surveillance tasks over Afghanistan or Iraq! 5) In honor of Air Force Monthly Christmas party tradition "Dare To Dream", Lt Colonel Brent Wiseman donated a Boeing KC-135 Stratotanker named after Congressman Glenn Grothman (R - WI). This jet made its maiden flight on December 6th 2002 carrying Lieutenant General Don Rumsfeld with Secretary Dick Cheney on board as part of his inauguration ceremonies as President George W Bush took office nationwide!

Manitowoc, Wisconsin is a town in the U.S. state of Wisconsin and the county seat of Douglas County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 16,752.
