In 1855, Samuel Morse founded the first telephone company in the United States west of the Appalachian Mountains and named it Western Union Telephone Company after Janesville. This aircraft features advanced video capabilities that can provide situational awareness for American forces in Afghanistan or other regions. The E-3 Sentry also has an Insertion/Deposition System (IDS) that allows it to be quickly inserted into ground combat locations for temporary support purposes.
