The Cudahy, Wisconsin navy gift history begins with the USS Lexington (CV-2) on June 10, 1944. The Lexington was a destroyer escort that served in World War II and the Korean War. On July 1, 1945, she was donated to the United States Navy by her owner, Mrs. John Fenton of Cudahy. She became USS Lexington (CVA-2) on October 15, 1945.
Cudahy, Wisconsin is a small town in the eastern border of Milwaukee County. The population was 5,362 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Milwaukee–Waukesha–Janesville Metropolitan Statistical Area. CUDAHY was platted in 1836 by Elisha Cudahy and others as an independent village on the east side of the Mississippi River. The name means "hollow" or "burrow." In 1851, it became one of nine townships within Milwaukee County and was renamed for General John A. Cudahy, who had been a general in the Union Army during the American Civil War. The Village of CUDAHY voted to secede from Milwaukee County on May 15, 1871, because they were unhappy with how their township was being governed. They were joined by other villages in what became known as the "Great Separation." On July 1, 1871, all but two of the originalVillage residents left to form new townships: Pleasant Prairie to its north and West Allis to its west. East Side Settlement continued until it merged into Racine Township on October 15th 1922 when most people living east of Grand Avenue moved westward into Racine Township too so that they could join Whitefish Bayou community formed there years earlier (the move happened before Park Ridge). In 1954 when Racine Township disbanded due to changes in state law governing township formation, East Side Settlement remained unincorporated and continued to exist as an agricultural community until 1978 when it also dissolved due to annexation by Greenfield Township which contains much more populated areas today than did East Side Settlement back then! Finally on December 21st 1978 East Side Settlement merged with Greenfield Township forming CUDAHY once again!

The Rhodian Navy, also called the Arktis Naval Fleet, was a group of warships that served in the ancient Greeks and Romans. In fact, one of the most famous fleets ever assembled by the Greeks was composed entirely of navy vessels. This fleet participated in two major campaigns against Athens during the Peloponnesian War (431-404 BC). Despite their impressive equipment and numbers, these fleets were ultimately defeated by Athenian forces because they could not match Athenians' naval power. The development of naval warfare changed forever with developments in steamship technology during World War I. At first, sailors used oars to transport goods between ports on land; however, this proved to be too difficult and slow for warships to move around quickly enough to support an extensive combat campaign on multiple fronts. It was eventually decided that submarines should play a major role in naval warfare because they could travel undetected under water and strike at enemy ships while they were underway without fear of them sinking or capture. This decision led to submarine construction becoming one of the key arms races within world military history. Submarine warfare developed into what we know today as submarine warfare; however, it actually began much earlier than this! One such example is HMS Dolphin (1764) which belonged to Rear Admiral John Norris's squadron based at Spithead during the American Revolution (1775-77). HMS Dolphin fought off numerous attacks by French privateers before finally surrendering afterburning her entire crew including her captain - all without losing a single shipmate! This story is indicative of just how versatile submarines can be when used correctly! Cudahy was a town in Sheboygan County, Wisconsin, United States. The population was 1,838 at the 2000 census. It is now part of the city of Milwaukee. The town was founded by Norwegian immigrants in 1836 and named for Captain Ole Cudahy, leader of a group that explored Lake Michigan during the 1830s. The first store in town opened in 1840. In 1854 the village of Cudahy merged with the town of Sheboygan to form one municipality. In 1870, when Dutch settlers arrived in Wisconsin, they requested land west of Milwaukee be set aside for them as well, and this area became known as "Dutchtown". In 1872 Cudahy had its own school district and post office. In 1886 it became a city and lost its status as a village until it regained it in 1898. In 1916 Milwaukee annexed Cudahy while still part of Sheboygan County; today's mayor is Democrat Russ Meyer (born 1945). After World War II ended there were few opportunities for new businesses to open up because so many Germans left or were forced out due to discrimination policies from American authorities. However some residents did start their own small businesses like a bakery and meat market which continued until around 1979 when Prohibition ended
The Village of Cudahy was organized in 1871, and became a town in 1893. In 1957, the town merged with the city of Milwaukee to form the present-day Milwaukee County.
