Today, Fairmont Coffee remains one of the most well-known and popular coffee brands in the United States. The FairmontHotel began as a small inn located in downtown Fairmont, West Virginia. It soon became known for its delicious coffee, which was served fresh from the beans roasted at their own facility. In 1906,Fairmont moved to its current location on Gaylord Avenue in Fairmont City. At this point,the Hotel had become one of the leading tourist destinations in West Virginia. In 1928,Fairmount changed its name to The FairmontHotel and began serving Breakfast until 2 p.m., Lunchtime until 4 p.m., Evening Suites until 10 p.m., and Wine Parties from 1 to 6 p.m..Today The Royal Green Room still serves Breakfast at 7 a.m.,Lunchtime at 12ppm.,Dinner at 5:30pm.,and Wine Parties are now served starting at 8pm..The evening suite hours have also been updated with nightly entertainment starting at 9pm including shows on several nights throughout each week including Thursday through Saturday night

Fairmont is a small town in West Virginia, United States. The population was 5,479 at the 2010 census. It is part of Mingo County. The area now called Fairmont was first settled by Europeans in 1786. The name came from Mount Fairmount, on which the town was built. In 1814, when Adams County was formed from Mingo County, Fairmont became part of that county as well. In 1827, following the Indian Removal Act of 1830, most of what are now Mingo and Fayette counties were acquired by West Virginia from the Shawnees and other Native Americans. The Treaty of Fort Laramie included provisions for the removal of all Native American occupants west of the Allegheny Mountains within five years or they would be forcibly taken without compensation to Oklahoma Territory. When Jackson Township was established in 1861, it included land east of US 12 and north of present-day US 20; this area became known as EastFairmount Township after Jackson's administration transferred it to Mingo County on February 3, 1865。 In 1870, following a referendum vote by residents in EastFairmount Township about joining Mingo County instead of Jackson Township due to lack thereof Cottonwood Spring water resources (east side only), much of this territory became part of today's Parkersburg Heights section within EastFairmount Township while retaining its own ZIP code (19077). On July 1st 1870, anticipation building began among many residents surrounding Parkersburg for an influx into their township due to new courthouse construction just south/west off Main Street near High School; however no one actually moved until August 1st when 9 families finally moved into 6 large dwellings around Court House Square making Parkersburg Heights official annexation with 5 ½ years notice required under state law ().
