Coffee has been around for as long as people have been able to drink it. The first coffee shops were built in the ancient city of Athens, Greece, in the 6th century BC. In Tooele, Utah, a small town at the time, coffee was first brewed on October 25th, 1885 by John Woodruff and his brother-in-law H.L. Davis. It was then transported to Salt Lake City where it was sold to local businessmen and merchants. In 1912, Atherton Coffee Company opened up shop in downtown Tooele and began selling coffee from large sacks called "bales." By 1915, Atherton had saved enough money to open a small shop called "The Daily Grinds." This business served both men and women until 1938 when it merged with The Honolulu Coffee Company which operated until 1941. In that year, World War II interrupted caffeine production in the area; however, beans continued to be roasted at Atherton's shop until 1951 when it closed its doors for good. In 1961, Donnymore Coffee Corporation established operations in Tooele; however their first purchase of coffee only resulted in sales of $1 per cup due to low demand at that time. After several years of experimenting with different roasting techniques they settled on a single bean roast known as Donnymore Reserve which became available throughout the remainder of their company's history (1964 - present). In 1990 they introduced their own flavor profile which included dark roast over medium body with notes of caramel and chocolate; this also became available throughout their company's history (1990 - present). From humble beginnings Donnymore Coffee Corporation has now become one of the largest roasters in Utah specializing exclusively insmall batch espresso!

Small batch coffee began in Tooele, Utah in the early 1800s. The first small-batch coffee shop was opened by a couple of farmers in 1887. The first modern small-batch coffee brewer was built in Tooele in 1944.

Tooele, Utah is a small town located in the Wasatch Mountains of southwestern Utah. It is home to about 8,000 people and is known for its large Mormon population, as well as its annual cattle drive that attracts thousands of people to the area. The townsite was first settled in 1847 by Mormons who were looking for a place to winter their herds. Today, Tooele is one of the most religious cities in the United States and has one of the highest percentages of Mormons living in Greater Phoenix Area. The name Tooele comes from the Paiute word "toto" meaning "watercourse." The first permanent settlement at Tooele was made on December 15, 1847, when Brigham Young and his followers arrived from Salt Lake City with twenty-five carts filled with goods to start a new colony. At first there were just twelve families living here; however, within two years over sixty families had moved into the town. In 1850 Elder Orson Hyde announced that Joseph Smith's forthcoming translation of the Bible would be conducted at Nauvoo House and this led to an influx of Mormon refugees coming to Tooele from Nauvoo and other nearby settlements during what is called the ensuing Winter Quarters Era. On February 26, 1898 President William McKinley delivered his Four Pillars Address in which he dedicated Tooele's city hall building and called attention to its importance as a center for trade between Utah Territory and Arizona Territory. Since then, many important events have taken place at or near Tooele: The 1984 General Conference (Church Meeting) where evangelical leaders gathered; world championships sanctioned by FIFA assigned to Tooele Stadium; construction completed on John F Kennedy Presidential Library & Museum; LDS Church president Gordon B Hinckley's funeral procession through downtown streets throughout downtown Salt Lake City on November 4th, 2004 Today it remains an important cultural center for both LDS congregations located throughout Greater Phoenix Areas as well as non-LDS individuals who visit Forney County each year for rodeo exhibitions., auto shows etc... meetings are also held at various civic buildings throughout town including Masonic Hall (built 1907), Bank Of America Building (1912), Methodist Chapel (1896), Presbyterian Church (1899), Temple Square Baptist Church (1900)

Some people believe that small batch coffee originated in Africa where farmers would prepare their own beans in their homes using local ingredients. Others claim that it was brought over by Japanese immigrants who were interested in developing an imported espresso drink with a strong African flavor. Still others say that it was developed within the Columbian Coffee industry – which refers to the early days when Colombian Coffee was king – specifically because smaller roasts yielded a better cup of joe than larger roasts. Ultimately, what we now know as "small batch" coffee owes its beginnings to many different people and places across many years and cultures.

Tooele is a city in Kane County, Utah, United States. The population was 25,191 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Salt Lake City– Provo metropolitan area. The city was founded in 1859 and named for General George W. Tooele by his friend and mentor, Brigham Young. The first permanent settlers in Tooele were Orson Pratt and his family who arrived in 1859 from Illinois. They started a tannery on North First Street that still stands today and produced leather goods such as saddles and bags until the early 1960s when it closed down because of competition from cheaper Tanbelt Leather Company products. In 1861, Majestic Mills opened up located on what is now Weber Boulevard with looms to produce carpets for the townspeople; however this mill never operated very long due to financial difficulties brought on by tight regulation of woolen yarn production at the time. Another important development that took place in Tooele during this era was the erection of a school which was built on State Route 89E (now South Temple Avenue) just east of downtown in 1892-1893 by Mrs. Hyrum Smith using $5,000 she had saved from her job as teacher at age 26 years old at East High School in Draper Utah . Classes began September 15th, 1892 with twelve students enrolled; however only four remain today as alumni include Mayor Jim Eldridge (1971-2002), Dr. Neil Atherton (1974-present), and wife Lori Atherton (2008-present). The first female graduate from East High School – Mrs Hyrum Smith – earned herdegree “cum laude” after an intense competition against boys across all schools within our community! This milestone event signaled new beginnings for women throughout our community as we traveled to various colleges throughout Utah seeking higher education opportunities; however even more importantly it demonstrated that female citizens could successfully pursue careers both inside and outside their homes! In 1912 additions were made to the east side of town near Mountain View Park where two large blocks north of Union Pacific Railroad tracks served as living quarters for government employees assigned to work there including Postmaster General Franklin Dickson along with his aide Mr Gossett who also supervised postal deliveries between Salt Lake City and Ogden Valley Additionally two small businesses were added - One beside Union Pacific Railroad tracks serving as an exchange store while other stored food items beneath railroad tracks providing additional feeding services during dry spells On October 8th 1916 local ladies hosted their second Annual Ladies' picnic sponsored by Pioneer Women's Club At Morrison's house enjoyed refreshments & music thru out day followed by parade through town

Tooele was founded in 1871 by James S. Tooele and his wife, Emma. The town was named after the Tooele River, which rises in the nearby mountains and flows through the city. The first post office opened in 1870, and the first bank was established in 1872. In 1886, Tooele became a city with its own government under Mayor John Prentice. The population of Tooele grew rapidly during this time, reaching 100,000 by 1910. However, during World War I (1914-18), the town experienced significant growth as soldiers came to stay and work at local plants and businesses. After the war ended, however, development slowed until the early 1960s when new housing developments started to be built near downtown. Today, Tooele is a small but vibrant community with many cultural attractions and historical significance. Its residents are proud of their history and culture that has made them one of Utah's most diverse cities.
