The Air Force deployed a gift to Tooele, Utah in 1962. The gift was an American flagpole and flag. The pole was donated by the United States Air Force stationed at Offutt AFB, Kansas. In 1996, the Flag Pole Museum opened in Tooele to show off the gifts from the USAF stationed there over the years.
When the air force deploys a gift, it is often something special for someone important in their life. Even if the person doesn't know what the gift is, they will appreciate it and likely use it. Air Force gifts can be anything from small tokens of appreciation to large pieces of equipment or furniture. There are many different options and prices available to make sure that the air force family feels appreciated while deployed.

Tooele is a city in Utah, United States. The population was 5,651 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Tooele County and the largest city in Duchesne County. The current mayor of Tooele is Donna Rice. The site for what would become Tooele was chosen by Chief Washakie in 1847 as the place where he could build his new village on the banks of the Grande Ronde River. He named it after him and his brother Osoe-a word meaning "big water." In 1857, Brigham Young founded The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) here, making Tooele one of their first strongholds in America. By 1890, though many LDS churches had been established throughout America since 1847, only about 20% of Utah's population were Mormon residents. When World War I began with Austria-Hungary declaring war on Serbia, LDS members from southern Utah sent food parcels to their brothers and sisters back at home; this number grew to over 100 packages a day when hostilities turned violent in Europe. In 1916 Brigham Young announced that because Of changing social mores within Mormonism—beginning with polygamyphis which had ended three years earlier—the church would no longer proselytize into Gentiles living outside its boundaries; thus beginning what would be known as "the Great Apostasy" within Mormonism. In 1940 Mayor Clyde Fenton proposed annexing Duchesne County so that Tooele could have an even larger population than it already had and two other cities were annexed: Royce City (Utah) and Gladstone (Utah). However this plan was vetoed by then-Governor Orval Faubion who felt that annexation would only lead to further split between Duchesne County's six municipalities while also increasing taxes for allocating these resources between them instead of being shared evenly among them like needed hitherto. With growth continuing unabated throughout World War II due to various military activities conducted near or inside Ofoele limits including mining operations undertaken during nearby La Sal Mine Gold Rush era – particularly at uranium mines operated by Western Electric Company & others – councilman Cecil Enright spearheaded efforts to have limits placed on future gold production across town area spurring increased development around North Main Street/ US Route 95 corridor northward paralleling creek providing running water for several hundred homes including present day North Main Avenue (& downtown streets), restaurants/bars/cafeterias lining main avenue as well as movie theater east & west side [+ todayrsdowntown block south] soon becoming known simply as 'The Strip'. The history of the United States Air Force Deployed Gifts program is lengthy, but its roots can be traced back to World War II. At that time, the USAAF was made up of a disparate group of groups, including the Army and Navy. Together, these services possessed an air arm that could not be relied on to fight on the ground or in the skies. In order to fill this vacuum, Congress passed legislation in 1942 authorizing the establishment of a Gift Program within the USAF. The program was initially limited to members of Congress and their families, but over time it has been extended to all USAF personnel. The program’s mission is twofold: To provide support for functions within the USAF and also promote friendly relations between our military and civilian partners. Today, there are more than 350 military branches and organizations that participate in Gift Programs throughout our country. These programs help build relationships with our allies andvv ourselvesv while demonstrating our commitment to interoperability and shared values. In addition to providing support for official events and ceremonies, Gift Programs have also been used for special occasions such as birthdays or anniversaries.
The USAF deployed more than 1,500 gifts to civilians and military service members in 2010.
Tooele, Utah is a small town in the Wasatch Mountains of southern Utah. It was founded by Mormon settlers in 1847 and has since been one of the most populous and politically active towns in the state. The city was first named Provo, but it was changed to Tooele after a local creek. The population of Tooele increased rapidly during the late 19th century due to its location close to Brigham Young University (BYU) and other important national institutions. After World War II, Tooele became an increasingly residential community as families moved away from the rural areas around it. Today, Tooele is a vibrant local community with many cultural attractions and businesses.
Tooele was founded by James H. Tooele on July 12, 1872 as a trading post on the Snake River. The town was named for General George A. Smith, who had helped lead Utah's entry into the Union in 1850. In 1906, Tooele became a city and has since grown to become one of the most populous cities in Utah with over 100,000 residents.
