In 1969, ownership of the business passed from Harry Aiken to his son George Aiken Jr., who continued to run the business until it closed in 1984. The last customer to purchase a cup of fresh roasted coffee at the store was Ronald Reagan on November 3rd, 1984. Since that date, only memories of this favourite spot have remain!

Murray, Utah is a small town in the Wasatch Front region of Utah. The population was 1,569 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Provo-Orem metropolitan area. Murray was named for David Murray, a state legislator from Weber County in 1882. The first permanent settler in Murray was James Laughlin, who located there on April 14, 1847. Other early settlers included Isaac Averill and his family on December 12, 1848; John Vincent on January 4, 1850; and John Sayers on October 5,1851. The first post office in Murray opened on November 2nd, 1857. The name of the town was changed to Murray on July 15th of that year by act of the legislature following a suggestion by Wm E Hales (alderman from Provo) during a meeting of the Board of Trade & Commerce in connection with manufactures being conducted thereabouts.

Murray, Utah is an unincorporated community in Sevier County, Utah, United States. It was founded by pioneers in 1847 and named for General James Murray, a hero of the Mexican-American War. The town had a population of 527 at the 2000 census. A post office operated in Murray from 1849 to 1951. The town was originally laid out as a township on the east side of Sevier County by settlers who arrived during the Fremont Expedition in 1847. By 1850, it had increased to a small village with a school and store. In 1862, Murray was elevated to become an incorporated town under territorial government when Sevier County was organized as part of the Utah Territory. The first mayor of Murray was George Waugh. In 1907, construction began on what would become Sevier University—the only college in Utah established before statehood—and Murray became its campus. The community remained strongholds for Mormon missionaries until after World War II when large numbers left for better opportunities in other parts of Utah and elsewhere. For many years after that time,Murray functioned largely as a bedroom community for those living near La Vergne and Springdale airports and other major metropolitan areas within Salt Lake City's boundaries. However, over the past few decades there has been renewed growth around Murray as homebuilders have brought new development closer to the schools and businesses located there; this has helped revive downtown business activity which has helped contribute to recent economic growth inMurray overall. As is typical among frontier towns such as these early Settlers' settlementsfolk often built their homes around some kind of commercial or agricultural enterprise where they could sell goods or services - including groceries (farming) or Thatcher services (logging). These early commercial enterprises soon gave way to residential structures but with one important difference: most residents were long term residents who owned their homes outright through mortgages while others rented from landlords/tenants."
