When it comes to coffee, Utah is a state that knows its own scene. From the rugged landscape of the Wasatch Mountains to the huge deserts of the Ogden Valley, this once antiseptic state has been home to some of the most talented coffee roasters in the country. Some of Utah’s earliest coffee pioneers include James Hargrave and George Hill, who started their business in 1868 in Lehi. The first production shop was located on Second Avenue in downtown Lehi, and they served local residents as well as visitors from around Utah. Over time, other notableUtahcoffee businesses emerged such as The Coffee Makers, which operated from 1968-1976 and was known for their quality roasted beans. In addition to its namesake store, The Coffee Makers also had a café on South Temple Street in Salt Lake City – one of the city’s many noted spots for java enthusiasts. Today there are numerous retailers that sell artisanal coffee products throughout Utah – including several locations inside the LDS church itself. This growing industry has brought about new opportunities for small business owners and entrepreneurs alike, and has helped promote sustainability across a wide range of industries.

The Lehi Coffee Company was founded in 1912 by Harry and Lilla Eldredge. They began making coffee from beans they roasted on their own trees in a small, family-owned business. The Eldredges were the founders of the first professional coffee roasting house in Utah. The company has been around since then and continues to produce high-quality coffee products.

Lehi was founded by the Mormons in 1847. The town, located on the slopes of Mount Moriah, became a center for Mormon settlers during the early years of theirmovement to Utah. Lehi quickly emerged as one of the most important settlements inUtah and soon became known for its friendly and welcoming attitude towards Nepalese refugees who hadcommitted theft or other crimes against members ofthe LDS Church. Lehi played an important role in the history of Utah and has been cited as one of its mostimportant pioneers. The town was also responsible for helpingto create Utah's first bank, which opened in 1851. Other key eventsin Lehi's history include: the creation of a school district in 1868;the founding of a grocery store in 1907; and the erectionof a city hall in 1909. Today, Lehi retains much of its original character with its community-based socialservices, lively nightlife, and thriving economy. In addition toits cultural significance, LeHI is also home to some OFC attractions that offera unique perspective on life within Mormonism itself - such asThe Mansion House Museum andThe Church History Library.

Lehi was founded in 1847 by Orson Pratt and his brother, Joseph. The city was named for Lehi, an ancient Jaredite settlement that was destroyed by the Israelites in the Book of Mormon. Lehi became a thriving town with a population of around 1,500 people when it was platted in 1853. The town's growth continued until it had a population of over 10,000 by 1860. By 1870, Lehi had become one of the most important centers in Utah Territory. In 1875, Brigham Young designated Lehi as the capital of Utah Territory. The city continued to grow and prosper until it reached its peak during World War II when its population peaked at 25,000 people. After the war, Lehi experienced rapid decline and did not reach its former levels of growth again until the late 1990s.Today, LeHI is a small but vibrant community with a rich history that is still being explored today.

Lehi was founded in 1847 by Mormon pioneers from Joseph Smith's farm west of Nauvoo, Illinois. The town was named for Lehi, an ancient Hebrew prophet who is said to have seen the coming of Jesus Christ. The Mormons first settled in the area now known as Utah in 1847 and began construction on a Mormon temple near present-day Lehi. After two years of construction, the temple was completed but not consecrated until 1850. In that year, Brigham Young announced that the Mormons would move their headquarters from Nauvoo to Provo, Utah, which they did in 1851.
