The Utah National Guard was organized on November 15, 1912. The original organization consisted of theguard units of the cities of Ogden and St. George. On February 6, 1913, a state militia unit was merged into the guard and this unit became known as the Alpine Guardsmen. On October 1, 1920, the National Guard Bureau adopted a resolution designating December 15th as a day to celebrate the incorporation of the National Guard in Utah. This date is recognized throughout all United States as National Guard Birthday Day. There have been many changes to how national guard gifts are given over time. In 1938, an act was passed which provided for national guard members to be able to receive cash or items such as food and clothing from government agencies or organizations. This change allowed more people to become involved with the military and helped increase morale within the guard units. In recent years, national guard gift history has focused primarily on ceremonial items such as flags and firearms that can be used by member organizations for fundraising events or special ceremonies. Alpine, Utah is a small town in Wasatch County, Utah. The population was 1,726 at the 2000 census. It is located on the eastern edge of the Wasatch Mountains and is considered to be one of the most picturesque places in central Utah. Alpine Village has a post office and two restaurants which are popular with locals and tourists alike. The town began as a cattle ranching community in 1876. By 1912, Alpine had become an agricultural center due to its location between Provo and Cedar City. In 1923, Alpine became incorporated as a village after being approved by the state legislature. The village plat was filed in 1924 and construction began soon thereafter on what would become known as "The Mountain". Today, Alpine features two churches – First Baptist Church (founded in 1925) and Christ United Methodist Church (founded in 1928). Alpine also has a recreation area including several golf courses as well as three ski hills for winter sports enthusiasts.

Through their hard work and dedication, they were able to bring much needed relief supplies directly into New York City- something that would not have been possible without their cooperation!

Alpine, Utah is a small town in the Utah Valley region of the United States. The population was 951 at the 2010 census. Alpine is located on the Wasatch Front National Monument and is part of the Ogden-Clearfield Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first people to live in what is now Alpine were Paiutes who may have come from Arizona or Mexico about 1855. A group of Mormons also arrived in 1868 and started a school in what is now Alpine. In 1890, two brothers, George Wetherington and Lorenzo Snow, decided to homestead land east of the South Fork Salt Lake River. They named their property "Alpine" after Mount Hood in Oregon where they had seen snow banks during their journey downriver from Provo. With its own post office and railroad station, Alpine quickly became an important community with many businesses and homes being built between 1893 and 1906. By 1930, there were over 150 residents living in Alpine including 30 percent of all farmers within Ogden County. In 1944, when defenses were erected along the frontiers around Ogden by President Franklin D. Roosevelt as part of Project Alamo, Alpine became one of several communities within geographic range for military personnel stationed at Fort Douglas Army Air Field (later Joint Base Lewis-McChord). With increased peacetime troop traffic through downtown Boulder City and other nearby towns during World War II—including increasing numbers of soldiers coming home on leave—alpine began to experience rapid growth as soldiers found housing units available for rent near Fort Douglas as well as food stores and bars catering to troops stationed hereabouts. The population peaked at 1,100 people in 1951 before slowly declining over ensuing decades due to civilian migration away from rural areas into larger metropolitan areas such as Salt Lake City and Denver; however, recent growth has again brought about renewed interest among locals for exploring hiking trails which run through town center including up North towardMountains View Park Today's residents are descendants of those who arrived more than 50 years ago; however there are also large groups representing various nationalities living here today including Hispanics (of all races), Asians (of all Races), Native Americans (of both tribes), European American civilians/workers stationed here during World War II (most notably WWII veterans) as well as others related to local history or culture like mountain biking enthusiasts or dogwalkers out walking their dogs
Alpine is located in the Wasatch Range of Utah. The town was founded in 1869 by Mormon pioneers, and it has since grown to become a major center for the LDS faith. Alpine is also home to several ski resorts, including Aspen Mountain Resort and Heavenly Ski Area.
