Coffee is believed to have originated with Arabs who brought it back from Arabia during the time they were conquerors of that region. It soon spread through Europe where it began being consumed by different groups such as the Dutch and French. Eventually it reached America where it started being grown natively by Native Americans in what is now Oklahoma and Colorado Springs Coalfields area! Throughout these years many different variations of coffee have been developed including Ethiopian Yirgacheffe which is their signature blend! Temple is a town in Cameron County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,906 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. The town was founded in 1881 by Colonel John Fenton and his wife, Rebecca. Fenton named it after the Jerusalem temple, which he had seen while visiting Europe on a military campaign. In 1907, Temple became one of the towns annexed to Austin when that city was created from portions of Travis County. Temple's construction boom began in the 1920s as workers attracted to Austin increased its job opportunities and new housing developments sprang up around it. After World War II, however, employment opportunities decreased and home prices rose as tension grew between east and west Austin over issues such as racial segregation and land use regulations. A recession in the early 1990s caused tensions to increase again; Temple's mayor at the time said "We're tired of being treated like second-class citizens". In 2000, Temple voters passed an ordinance banning discrimination against gays in all aspects of life except for marriage or adoption by individuals who identify with that lifestyle. This led to a boycott by someeastside churches until it was repealed two years later by then-Mayor Annise Parker. During her tenure as mayor, she also worked to improve socioeconomic conditions for residents including increasing access to education and creating a citywide park system through private donations In 2006 Temple elected its first black Mayor Art Acevedo after more than four decades without representation from within its community or within Cameron County government The current City Manager is Darrell K Royal Sr., who assumed office on July 1st 2018

Temple is a small town in east Texas, located in Liberty County. The population was 945 at the 2010 census. The name means "house of God" in the Cherokee language and it may be derived from the 1836 Treaty of Fort Gibson between the United States and the Cherokee Nation. In 1868, Temple was platted as a town by Captain John Overton and two others. It took until 1890 for temple to incorporate as a municipality. The first post office at Temple was established on April 15, 1892. It was renamed Templeville in 1907 after President James K. Polk's visit there that year and the nearby Comanche Indian Agency which served as a stop on his Trail of Tears tour of Oklahoma Territory. In 1915, during World War I, Temple became an airfield for American Expeditionary Forces (AEF) fighter planes flying training missions over Europe. After the war ended, American Aviation moved its operations to Temple from Wichita Falls and continued using it until 1990 when it closed down permanently due to economic reasons. During Reconstruction Period (1876-1887), much of what is now eastern Liberty County was part of Henderson County because cotton plantations were dominant local agriculture with no large-scale farming beyond small gardens orchards subsistence farming techniques while slave labor supplemented these practices through sharecropping arrangements among white landowners and African Americans working alongside them on large plantations near Abilene, TX
The first temple built on the site of present-day Temple, Texas was dedicated in 1838. The temple was destroyed by a tornado in 1845. The current temple was dedicated in 1960.
