Maga Coffee is a San Juan, Texas-based coffee company that has been in business since 1904. The company was founded by Carlos Magaña and his brother Miguel. Miguel started the company while he was living in New York City and soon relocated to San Juan, where he continued to operate the business until his death in 1951. magaña coffee is currently run by Carlos's son, Reynaldo Magaña. The first maga coffee beans were roasted on October 15th, 1904, in the home of Carlos Magaña and his brother Miguel. The beans were grown from local shade trees near San Juan and then roasted at their father’s farmhouse before being sold to various customers throughout New York City. In 1915, Mexico became an American protectorate following World War I and Carlos decided to set up shop permanently in Texas since there was no Mexican market for Texas-grown coffee. In 1924, magaña opened what would become one of the largest roasting plants ever built - it later became known as the “Maga Tower” after its location on West Houston Street near Madison Avenue in Manhattan). By 1934, magaña had also opened a second plant adjacent to his original one – this time called the “Maga Mill” which processed whole bean beans into ground coffee form for immediate sale across Manhattan (and other major cities) via street vendors or importers directto consumer stores such as Gimbels Coffee Company or Maxwell House Coffee Company (now Starbucks). By 1945, magaña had developed an interstate trade network that enabled him to ship entire tons of beans directly from Texas to New York City each week during peak season; this made TX #1 among US states for total caffeine exports! Additionally, starting around 1925 or so during Prohibition-era America’s Great Famine (1913-1920), TX coffeeplease sales helped support numerous small businesses who supplied Texans with needed goods like cloth diapers and cigarettes while still using legal methods rather than selling raw beans online/over the internet/etc., thus helping preserve familyowned businesses throughout prohibition era America! Reynaldo Magana took over management of the empire when his father died in 1951; he would continue running it until 1984 when it passed out of our hands entirely due largely to advances technology which facilitated world wide distribution through supermarkets etc.; however some very good old school bean grinders are still used today at Reynaldo's ranch located just outside Austin TX

The first coffee shop in San Juan, Texas was opened by José de la Torre in 1892. The first coffee came from Java, and the beans were roasted on the family farm which still stands today. In 1905, Juana de los Angeles y Ortiz founded La Esmeralda Coffee Company with her husband Santos Romo. La Esmeralda became one of the most influential coffee companies in Texas and exported its coffee to other states.
The city of San Juan, Texas is located in the U.S. state of Texas and is the county seat for Hudspeth County. As of the 2010 census, the population was 8,451. The town was founded in 1836 by Captain John Bissonnet and his family as a trading post on an island in San Juan Harbor. The first post office was established in 1840 and the first school opened in 1851. In 1872, a railroad was built through Hudspeth County and San Juan became an agricultural center with major crops such as cotton, corn, soybeans, and sugar beets. Manufacturing interests grew during the late 20th century with companies such as Ford Motor Company and Dell Incorporated locating in San Juan to take advantage of its growing economy. In recent years there has been significant redevelopment including new housing developments, a shopping mall, professional sports teams (NFL's Houston Oilers/Houston Texans; MLB's Astros/Athletics), light industrial properties, and a new casino which opened in 2013.
The history of maga coffee can be traced back to the Ottoman Empire. In 1753, a Turkish merchant named Hasan Pasha discovered and traded coffee with the Dutch in Rotterdam. Soon after, he began importing beans from Africa and South America. He also developed a reputation for quality, as he was known for his Keurig coffee machines which were popular at the time. In 1827, Sultan Mahmud II of Constantinople banned coffee because it was considered an enemy of Islam. This led to a period of stagnation in Ottoman trade and commerce. However, Hasan Pasha's son Mustafa continued to import beans and make keurig machines available throughout Anatolia (present day Turkey). In 1912, Turkish president Mustafa Kemal Atatürk introduced compulsory education for Muslims under 12 years old and made coffee the national drink of Turkey. At this point in history, there were over 2 millionKeurigs in use throughout Turkey alone! Coffee became an important part of Turkish culture and economy and continues to play a significant role in that today!

In 1836, San Juan was founded as the first town in what is now Texas. It quickly became a thriving agricultural center with tobacco, cattle and cotton industries. The town's population reached 10,000 by 1840. In 1851, San Juan was renamed Corpus Christi after the Catholic church that had been built there in 1841. The city's growth continued through the years until it surpassed Corpus Christi as the largest city in Texas in 1900. By then, however, San Juan had become an increasingly Republican-leaning stronghold and experienced significant decline during theought days of Democratic Governor Tom Connally. World War II led to increased economic development and new housing projects in downtownSan Juan; however, these developments were never completed because of economic difficulties following the war. The current name of San Juan comes from its location on a small island near Corpus Christi called Isla de la Juventud (Island of Youth). The island became known as La Bahia de Santiago (The Bay of Santiago) after Saint James Parishios erected a chapel there in 1855 to celebrate their victory over Mexican forces at Palo Alto Creek. In 1915, local businessmen petitioned for annexation into Austin; Austin granted them this request two years later. Over time, La Bahia de Santiago came to be associated with San Juan more than anything else due to its proximity to both cities and its history as a vibrant cultural center which attracted many famous Texans including author Jules Verne and musician Fats Domino. In recent decades La Bahia de Santiago has been home to various nightclubs and restaurants specializing in Puerto Rican cuisine while also hosting art exhibitions featuring local artists from around the world
