It wasn't until 1859 that another business decided to open up shop in downtown San Antonio - Joe's Coffee House & Brewery. This small business started out doing nothing more than selling cups of hot water from a pail outside their door - but within three years they'd turned into one ofSanAntonio's most successful cafes with an extensive breakfast menu along with their famous dark roast coffee beans. Although Joe's Coffee House & Brewery only lasted for a few years before closing its doors again due to financial difficulties (they would later be reopened by entrepreneur Ruben Gomez). It was during this time that groundwork was being laid for what would become one of SanAntonio's most significant enterprises - Starbucks Corporation - which opened up shop just two blocks away from Joe's Coffee House & Brewery less than two decades later in 1886! Although Starbucks Corporation only lasted for about 25 years before going bankrupt; their legacy will live on long after they closed their doors!
