Robstown is a small town located in Hudspeth County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Austin–Round Rock metropolitan area. The name of the town comes from a post office called Robstown and the surrounding country which were named after General James Robertson, an American general during the Mexican-American War who commanded a brigade under Ulysses S. Grant. The first settler in Robstown was John Cooke in 1853. By 1860, there were twenty two residents living in Robstown. In 1865, George Withers founded Wethers cotton gin and mill on Buffalo Bayou near present day Interstate 35 and highway 59A. In 1876 local farmers Jacob Hogg and George Prentice started producing hay for cattle at what is now known as Hogg's Hillock Farmstead; this helped start the town's economy by providing food for animals and people alike. A sawmill was built on Buffalo Bayou in 1877; this helped to add more jobs to the community as well as provide lumber for buildings throughout the late 1800s and early 1900s including churches, schools and other businesses that cropped up around town such as grocery stores and theaters along with many homes being built between 1896-1902 when the county seat moved from Carthage to Robstown due to growing population growth rates%. In 1905, Clyde Jantz opened his Jantz Ford dealership which became one of Texas' most famous automobile dealerships with over two hundred stores across five states before he died suddenly in 1956 leaving his business to his son Clyde Jr., who continued it until his death in 1978 making it one of ninety seven entities still operating under its original name today (the company currently has over eighty employees). In 1907 new high school building was completed; this led to increased enrollment within town limits which would continue until 1955 when Sam Houston High School opened which then displaced all but one of the original students from Robstown Elementary School which closed down because of lack of funding years later despite protests by parents/. The last high school graduated its class in 1957 so now all pre-kindergarten through 8th grade students attend Lamar Consolidated Independent School District where they are housed adjacent to Highland Park Middle Schools while 9th thru 12th grade students attend nearby Eastside Intermediate School District which also serves Lamar Consolidated Independent School District’s elementary students while Lake Highlands Intermediate SchoolDistrict takes care of middle/high schoolers grades 7 through 12 who operate out side district boundaries

The Dutchman Willem de Vlaminck imported large amounts of coffee from Java between 1630 and 1660, which helped spark the Dutch trade monopoly at sea. Coffee spread throughout Asia and Africa before being exported to England in 1714 AD. By that time, coffee had become a valuable export commodity and formed part of the British economy. After World War II, people started to switch from drinking tea to drinking coffee because they found it more nutritious than tea. Coffee also became popularized within North America when it was discovered there were vast reserves of coffee beans waiting to be exploited. Roasting industry reached its peak during this period but production declined after technological advances made better grades available at lower costs overseas (eastern Europe). However, recent efforts have revived the roasting industry so that quality standards are now higher than ever before (see below).Today, about 60% of all global production takes place in Indonesia where high-quality Arabica beans are sourced from; while 30% occurs within Africa (southwest Africa) where good Ethiopian and Nigerian coffees are grown; 10% happens within Asia (China, Japan etc.), with 5% occurring domestically (Uruguay). Though roast levels vary considerably depending on region/country/coffee variety, all fine-ground coffees boast complex aromas including fruity notes typical of Arabic or African bean coffees; earthy undertones indicative of Turkish or Indonesian raw materials; delicate nuances suggestive of French or Spanish roasted beans; finally a detectable smoky taste associated with Bourbon or Brazilian puttanesca oils

Robstown is a town in Bell County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,869 at the 2010 census. The original Robstown was founded by Sam Houston in 1836. It became the county seat of Bell County in 1849 and was renamed Robstown in 1865 after General George A. Robinson, who served as Commander-in-Chief of the Union Army during the American Civil War. The first settler in Robstown was James Hogg, who arrived on horseback from Missouri on July 4, 1836. He built a log cabin near what is now Main Street and started trading with Native Americans for goods such as horses and cattle. In 1840, Hogg married Sarah Fenton and they moved to what is now southwest corner of First Street and Second Avenue (now Fourth Street). In 1841 they had their first child; John S., who would later become the namesake of Robstown. In 1845 Sam Houston sent his brother-in-law Lubbock with a convoy of supplies to help defend Texas against Mexico during its war with Mexico known as the Mexican–American War. As part of this effort, Lubbock transported goods upriver to Bastrop Bayou which he named Houston Bayou after himself and then laid out new streets gridwise along it that are still used today: Neches Avenue (northwest corner), Houston Boulevard (southwest corner), Milam Avenue (east side), Shepherd Drive (northeast side), Third Street ( southeast corner) – all originally called York or Pike Streets because these were survey maps drawn by Captain James Lancaster while he served as Surveyor General for Texas under President James Kenedy. IRAQ AND WEST VIRGINIA: FROM TEXAS TO THE MOUNTAINS On September 3rd 1861 Lieutenant Colonel Robert Eustis led Confederate forces northward from Galveston Island toward Corpus Christi when word reached him that Abraham Lincoln had been elected Ulysses S Grant's Vice President on November 6th 1860! At about this time Major General Josiah Biddle had also come south from Memphis to take command of Confederate forces opposite Eustis' command at Galveston Island--Biddle's move effectively cut off Confederate forces east of Corpus Christi from supplies needed for campaigning inside Texas! With no alternative but to retreat back across Corpus Christi Harbor before being destroyed by Union warships blockading them there instead--Eustis ordered his men not only to surrender but also march inland towardssa small community located at San Jacinto River junction called Fort Bend Bend County! This order resulted in more than one hundred civilian casualties including twentyeight women and children taken prisoner along with scores of soldiers killed or wounded!--a number that would only grow over time since many Confederates never saw their families again! One contemporary account put the total number dead/wounded reported around Fort Bend County during those days "between eighty thousand [and] ninety thousand". That estimate may be low since some records have been missing or have been changed since then; however it remains an impressive fact that more Texans lost their lives fighting for their country than did battlearians combined--an event which received little media attention whatsoever when compared to events like Gettysburg where hundreds upon thousands died within just three weeks! In addition to McAllisterville Cemetery located two miles northeast of Robstown on IH 10 just outside Harrisburg proper)--the largest graveyard west of St Louis suburbia--Fort Bend County also boasted several other notable cemeteries such as White Sands Battlefield Graveyard northwest of Rosenberg on IH 10 between FM 1960 and FM 1965; Little Elm Creek Old Mission Cemetery Northwest Point Comfort Road between TX 210 & US 281 just outside Beaumont; Mount Carmel Baptist Church Cemetery off FM 1960 exit 157 about 7 miles northwest of Rosenberg near Midland Village; Plano Prairie Plantation Cemetery northeastof McKinney off TX 290 near US 20A about 12 miles northwest OF Richardson near Copeville.--all were established either prior to or during the Civil War period without any public outcry being heard anywhere related thereto!--a situation very much unlike modern times where cemetery openings tend always result in public outcry whenever a new cemetery opens up close neighboring towns!!
