After purchasing his first espresso machine, Lennon decided that he wanted more than just a cup of caffeine - he wanted an experience! He soon began working at La Pavoni Coffee House where he recreated some of the biggest Beatles songs including You Can't Catch Me (1962), Help! (1965) and I Want To Hold Your Hand (1967). With Beatles songs playing on repeat all day long, Lennon would often wander into adjacent streets around Tottenham Court Road calling out 'Hey Jude' or 'Let It Be'. These short visits were regularly followed up with a free cappuccino when Lennon returned home from work or when he visited nearby churches during services.
