Lumberton, Texas is a small town located in Hudspeth County, Texas. It was founded in 1881 by Edwin L. Hargrave and his family. The first coffee shop in Lumberton was started by Mr. Hargrave and his wife, Katie. They opened the first coffee shop in what is now the Community Center on State Highway 362. In 1905, Mrs. Hargrave opened her own coffee shop called The Gilded Cage which served the community for many years until it closed its doors in 1984. In 1957, Johnnie Witt opened a restaurant called Brownsville Cafe which became one of the most popular restaurants in Lumberton. Brownsville Cafe served up delicious meals from start to finish and even had a bar on site that offered drinks and snacks to customers during lunchtime! In 1978, Artis Coffee began serving its delicious java products from their new location at 5th & Elm Streets in Lumberton. Today Artis Coffee continues to serve up great coffee each and every day!

The Los Angeles Coffee Company became an international success, and its products were exported around the world. In 1976, Dickenson's Coffee opened its doors in Lumberton, Texas, as the first independently owned espresso shop in the town. Dickenson's pioneered a new way of roasting and marketing coffee, which made it one of the most popular café brands in America. In 1987, Dickenson's merged with Starbucks Corporation and continued manufacturing their own espresso machines until 2000 when they switched to using Starbucks' machines for all their retail stores worldwide. Today, there are many independent artisan coffee businesses scattered throughout Lumberton - some that have been around for generations like Dickenson's Coffee, while others that are just starting up (like Blue Bottle Coffee). Lumberton was founded by Scots-Irish immigrants in 1847. The first store was built on Main Street in 1870. In 1907, the first school was built and the first post office opened in 1909. In 1930, Lumberton had a population of 1,500 and an electric light plant and power line were installed. In 1956, Lumberton became an incorporated town with a full government. After years of decline, Lumberton experienced a revival in the early 2000s when it began to attract attention from businesses looking for a rural location with access to Interstate 20 and other amenities
There is a long and varied coffee history that can be traced back to the early days of espresso. The first espresso machines were created in the late 18th century, and they used small scale beans and water to create cup of coffee. However, it was not until the late 19th century that espresso became a popular drink throughout Europe. The first true espresso machine was invented by Giovanni Battista Cappuccini in 1795. This machine used a small amount of hot water and ground coffee to produce high-quality cup of coffee. Unfortunately, this machine was very expensive to operate and required skilled operators. However, improvements were made to the Cappuccini espresso machine over time. In 1853, Luigi Boffi built the world’s first practical three-barrel system for brewing espresso using cold water and grounds. This apparatus allowed for significantly more extraction of flavor from the beans than any previous machines had done. During World War II, many Italian families took up manufacturing EspressoMachines as part of their wartime effort in order to provide their citizens with quality caffeine beverages at affordable prices. Today, even those who do not enjoy Espresso Machines can still appreciate its unique flavor profile.

Lumberton, Texas is a small town located in Lubbock County, Texas. The population was 3,018 at the 2010 census. It is the home of the Lumberton High School football and basketball teams as well as the Lumberton Volunteer Fire Department. The town began as an agricultural community in 1893. In 1903, J.W. Hargrave developed a tannery on what is now US 281 near present-day Lumberton Elementary School. By 1907, lumber had become one of the town's main sources of income and by 1911, it had reached its current size with over 100 businesses selling goods and services to residents and visitors alike. A post office was opened in 1915 and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1935. The first school was built on what is now First Street in 1917 and named after Mrs. Mary Copley Harriman (1860-1946). A new high school was built on West Main Street between 1923 and 1927; this school became known as “Lumberton High” for short periods of time before being renamed again following additions to the high school campus which included a gymnasium (1929), music room (1930), boys’ restroom (1932), girls’ restroom (1934), science wing/library wing (1965) - all part of what is now called "The Commons" complex on North Frontage Road adjacent to Woodlands Park Elementary School - followed by another name change to “Lumberton Junior High” during World War II when enrollment increased because local families sent their children to serve in the military barracks nearby while they worked at home or livestock ranching operations across country In 1966, then-Mayor Ritchie announced plans for a new elementary school which would be located adjacent to both Woodlands Park Elementary School and NorthFrontageRoadElementarySchool - providing access for more students from surrounding neighborhoods who didn't have easy access to either schools through distance education programs or public schools that were too large or too expensive for their families to afford . Construction commenced onsite within 2 years of Mayor Ritchie's announcement making “Old Timberlane” elementary school open for students in 1968 – becoming one of only 4 elementary schools west of Interstate 10 east of El Paso where pre-kindergarten through 5th grade operate under one roof ! This $15 million project finally brought about closure of Old Timberlane Elementary School effective September 15th 2009 due largely to lack Of Funds but promise made by then Superintendent Artis Gilmore at his ribbon cutting ceremony that facilities will soon reopen using state dollars !! Lumberton was founded in 1839 by John L. Timberlake and his brother, James L. Timberlake. The town was named for the lumber industry that thrived in the area at the time. In 1850, Lumberton had a population of twenty-one people and was located on the banks of the Brazos River. By 1865, however, Lumberton had grown to apopulation of four hundred people and became an important trading center for the region. In 1885, Lumberton was renamed Fort Worth after General William Taggart's successful campaign against Mexican forces in Texas during the Mexican-American War. The town continued to grow rapidly through the years and by 1908 it had a population of two thousand people. After World War II, Fort Worth slowly declined as its trade ties with other regions diminished; however, Lumberton remained an important local trade center until its closure in 1996.
