The company grew rapidly and by 1912 had purchased two more plantations. In 1916, Apache Coffee merged with a major Dutch coffee producer, Koffiehuis Roemenia N.V., creating the world’s second largest coffee cooperative. Apache Coffee became one of the most successful and respected coffee companies of its era. It released many popular products, including ApacheOS (a Unix operating system), ApacheCoffee capsules (a type of hot chocolate), and ApacheBags (a reusable bag made from recycled paper). The company also exported its beans to other countries throughout the world. In 1998, after more than a century of business operations, Apache Coffee was acquired by Peet's Coffee Corporation for $1 billion. At Peet's helm were longtime CEO Dick Costolo and Chairman Donald Trump who helped to revive the company as a leading player in international coffee trading. However, since the war's end Kingsville has experienced several surges in population due to various new businesses moving into the area or being established hereabouts such as healthcare and tech companies such as Google parent company Alphabet Inc., Facebook Inc., Amazon Web Services Inc., Apple Inc., Intel Corp., Samsung Electronics Co Ltd., and Microsoft Corporation. Today, KingsVILLE continues to experience rapid growth with many new businesses establishing themselves hereabouts including restaurants, retail stores and office buildings housing various tech start up companies such as Square One Software (formerly known as Nebulous), Ventana Wireless CA (later acquired by AT&T), and Movoto Real Estate Solutions LLP among others; giving rise to what can be considered one of West Texas' most vibrant communities full of opportunity for economic development.

Kingsville is a town located in Medina County, Texas, United States. The population was 1,811 at the 2010 census. Kingsville is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. Kingsville was founded in 1859 by Captain Johnnie Caddell and his brother-in-law James Hogg as a small station on the Trinity River. In 1861, Captain Caddell and two other men were killed when their wagon was attacked by Indians near present day Kingsville. The community name "Kingsvil" was derived from this tragedy. In 1876, Mayor David Wirtz proposed that the town be named after King George Washington because of his role in starting Texas Central Railroad. Wirtz's idea was accepted by the board of directors and the name became official on July 2, 1876. The first post office in Kingsville opened in March 1865 under mail call from San Antonio to Brownsville under direction of Acting Postmaster General Jno Latta (1821-1896). At that time there were only six towns in Medina County with mail services; all except Kingsvil received their own stamps until 1907 when they were combined into one set for all villages within Medina Countyexcept for Kingsvil which continued to get its own stamps until 1909 When USPS merged with EDSA Mail
