The history of high-quality coffee in Keller, Texas goes back to the 1890s when German-born Franz Koller established a small grocery store on Third Street. Koller and his wife, Katharine (née Heine), opened the store with two butchers and four family members. The couple soon realized that they needed more than just coffee beans to provide their customers with quality goods. They also developed a reputation for selling top-quality Italian pasta products and other food items. Consequently, the Kollers became well known throughout Keller and surrounding areas for their delicious food and excellent customer service. In 1922, Franz Koller passed away suddenly at the age of 80 years old. His widow Katharine continued to operate the business until her death in 1951. After Katharine's death, daughter Mechthild took over management of the store until she married businessman Bob Wiebe in 1969. Wiebe Jr., who is now the owner of the business, purchased Katharine's estate in 1984 and began operating it as a museum dedicated to her memory. Keller, Texas is a small town located in Hudspeth County, Texas. The population was 1,836 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Austin-Round Rock metropolitan area. The community began as a post office on October 12, 1881, and was named for George Keller, an early settler. It grew rapidly due to the oil boom in nearby Wichita Falls and its proximity to railroad tracks. In 1925, Keller became the first town in Hudspeth County to have electric lighting. Keller has experienced many changes over the years; it has been known as a farming community until recently, and now it is home to mostly high-tech businesses and some smaller businesses. The post office closed in 1992 but remains open as a research center for TX Instruments LLC., which manufactures semiconductors. In Keller there are three churches: First Baptist Church (founded 1865), Methodist Episcopal Church (1896), and Presbyterianism (1929). There also are two schools: Keller Junior High School (founded 1912) and Keller Senior High School (founded 1921).

In 1794, Boston Tea Party leader John Adams included beans from Colombia on his shipment of tea to England. This event helped spread awareness about coffee and made it more affordable for people in North America. In Chile, the Inca Empire reached its peak under Emperor Atahualpa during the 15th century AD. The Emperor enjoyed a monopoly on trade with all parts of South America due to his excellent irrigation systems and strong military forces. When Spanish conquistadors arrived in Chile during the 16th century, they discovered rich resources hidden inside this ancient empire – including coffee! As a result, Spain began importing large quantities of coffees from Colombia which helped make Chilean coffee even more prized than ever before. After centuries of refinement, Colombian beans were finally roasted into high quality cups at Don José’s Coffee Roasters in Berkeley California back in 1978-the first such roaster in the United States! From then on, every major U.S.-based cup shop began serving Colombian-roasted beans (and eventually worldwide!). Keller, Texas is a small town in the Midland region of Texas. The population was 1,898 at the 2000 census. It is located on TX-27 about 20 miles north of Dallas. The community was founded by John Keller and his family in 1884. In 1916, it was named for General George Custer after he died during the American Civil War. The Keller community grew slowly until World War II when it exploded with growth due to the wartime demand for munitions from the war effort and then post-war economic development. The population reached 3,500 in 1960 and 7,000 by 1990.ivember 2000). As early as 1884, John Keller established himself as a landowner and rancher in this area with holdings that stretched from present day Wichita Falls to Pecos County (now part of El Paso County) He acquired 640 acres (2 km²) across three counties - Wichita Falls, Pecos County, and Aransas County - which together formed what would become known as "the Keller Ranch". John Keller died in 1892 but his wife Lulu continued running their ranch until her death in 1915; she had married John's younger brother William "Bill" Keller Sr.. His widow continued to operate the ranch until her death also in 1915; she had married Bill's older brother Harry McIntyre III.. They both were buried at Forest Lawn Cemetery near Dallas.. The first house built on Kellerman Ranch was probably erected around 1880 or 1890 by Mrs Lulu Keller herself.. By 1916, when General George Custer died during the American Civil War battle at Gettysburg Heights, local residents renamed their community "George Custer Village" after him following an impromptu vote taken at a restaurant near town center where soldiers stationed nearby enjoyed refreshments.. After General Custer's death however, ownership reverted back to Mr & Mrs Lulus' heirs until it passed into public hands again following passage of the National Defense Authorization Act of 1947 which provided funds for military Buildups throughout America ( NDAA 1947 ). This helped spur further growth as businesses created new jobs within local communities across all levels of government including schools and churches providing essential services like housing for troops garrisoned here during peacetime ( Kelly 2006:7). During World War II there was significant growth thanks to munitions production available from nearby plants such as Navistar Corporation located just east of town on US-287 south of IH-35W... Northrop Grumman Aircraft Manufacturing Company Incorporated produced Boeing B-29 Superfortress bombers being developed here starting before Pearl Harbor... additional industries locating here include telecommunication companies such as AT&T Bell Laboratories who moved their research facilities from Pasadena to Keller after deregulation repealed FCC regulations that barred them from doing so... Retail stores such as Woolworths opened up offering groceries and other supplies along with movie theaters serving popcorn shrimp chow etc... Restaurants became popular places for troops stationed here instead of staying put inside tents or barracks while living off rations issued courtesy OFDAC commandeered vehicles....... These days Keller has some very modern amenities like an indoor pool complete with spa tub/shower facility/jacuzzi etc., nightlife including live music performances most Fridays & Saturdays downtown,...and several shopping centers including one anchored by Sears currently open 6 days a week
