The United States Air Force Protection Squadron (A-101) was activated on 1 May 1942 at Hutto, Texas. The squadron was assigned to the Eighth Air Force and flew the B-24 Liberator bomber. On 15 February 1945, the A-101s of the squadron were used in Operation Overlord as part of Tactical Air Command's strategic bombardment force. The aircrews bombed Cologne, Germany; Dresden, Germany; and Augsburg, Austria during World War II. On 14 November 1945, the A-101s of the squadron crashed into a mountain near Asuncion, Paraguay while providing support for combat operations against Brazilian forces duringOperation Lend a Hand. The loss of these aircraft symbolized American failure in its effort to defeat Brazil in that war. In 1947, A-101 squadrons were redesignated as E-4B Skyraiders and flown UH-1N Hueys until termination in 1960. In 1961–1966 E-4Bs served with Strategic Air Command's 9th Bombardment Wing at Offutt AFB, Nebraska flying Boeing EC135E Scorpion helicopters while they underwent conversion to jet aircraft and equipped with Wright JC145 Jet Provo collectorships; this program ended when 9 BW was transferred toAFSC frownlinghabitat at Minot AFB North Dakota on 3 Jun 1966 effective 31 Dec 1966 Since almost all of these aircraft had been converted from propeller planes they required extensive restoration work including replacement parts for engines and landing gear assemblies that could not be replaced by new models because old parts had deteriorated over time or became obsolete through wear and tear from operations above ground as well as belowground use Restoration work lasted until about 2006 when it was finally abandoned due to lack of funds but is now preserved by volunteers Although much more has been accomplished since World War II than originally thought there are some aspects which still remain largely unknown about how airforce gift history works or how USAF pilots fly their RC airplanes This paper will attempt to fill some gaps in this knowledge by discussing briefly what happened with each type of airplane after conversion from propeller aviation back to jets/RC airplanes

Hutto is a town in Tarrant County, Texas, United States. The population was 2,711 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Fort Worth–Arlington Metropolitan Statistical Area. The first settler in Hutto was George Witherspoon and his family who arrived in 1876 from Illinois. In 1880, John A. Barnett and wife Sarah moved to Hutto from Spinkville, Arkansas following the death of their father-in-law, Amos Greenwood. Together with some other early settlers they founded a gristmill on an upland stream known as the Butterfield Well near what is now Parkview Drive east of Interstate 35W. In 1886 the first post office was established in Hutto with Elijah Hance as clerk and four others as employees. In 1892 Chas Settle opened a general store on Main Street which became Smith’s General Store after he merged his business with that of Drury Lumber Company founder Chas Settle Sr., son of Chas Settle Jr., in 1903. When Smith’s died not long afterward (aged 73), his two sons continued operations under their own name until 1949 when it changed again to Hutto Hardware & Sporting Goods Corporation under ownership by Willis Hogg III until its sale to Sam Rayburn for US$2 million in 1957. In 1907 Jerald Rector purchased land adjacent to what is now Parkview Drive from George Kapp for $600 and began building what would become Rutland High School; construction started on school buildings on farm land north of I-35W just east of Highway 6 before completing them in 1912 and 1913 respectively. Rutland served as a junior high school until it closed during World War II due to lack of enrollment; then came Hutto Junior High School which continues today as Hutto Middle School also serving students through eighth grade along with Hillcrest Elementary School located south across I-35W from Hutton Union High School which serves students through sixth grade along with Oneida Agricultural Research Station operated by Texas A&M University providing agricultural training programs for local farmers before it closed during the mid 1970s concurrent with other research center closures within Texas A&M University including one at Bob Evans Landfill near College Station – making this one of only two universities withinTexas A&M University where agricultural research has been conducted without any major campus impact (the other being Rice University). During World War II there were three factories operating out sideof huttotown: 1) Lewis Machine Works producing machineguns for the US military 2) Foxconn Factory making radios and components for planes 3) Pabst Brewery manufacturing beer
The United States Air Force (USAF) was founded in 1947, and the first USAF unit to be activated was the 491st Tactical Airlift Wing at Roswell Army Air Field, New Mexico. The USAF is an airpower First World War-era service that has seen a wide variety of aircraft and equipment since its inception. Today, the USAF operates more than 60 active duty numbered units and numerous reserve aviation organizations. The USAF's Statement of Purpose states: "To provide prompt, effective and efficient airborne support for U.S interests around the world." This statement is reiterated through USAF policy by stating that "air lift shall not be used as a pretext or political tool to achieve strategic goals". In 1966, Congress enacted legislation which established the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA). As part of this legislation, NASA became responsible for all aspects of aeronautics research within the US military including but not limited to space exploration; thus giving rise to NASA's current role as America's preeminent aerospace research organization.

Hutto is a small town in Texas, located on the outskirts of Austin. It was founded in 1847 by John Hutto and his family. The Huttos were among the original settlers in what is now Austin. In 1870, John Hutto donated land to the city of Austin for public purpose. The city of Austin built the first courthouse and jail in Hutto in 1872. In 1892, Hutto became an incorporated town with a population of about 350 people. In 1907, the town charter was amended to allow for female suffrage. From 1912 until 1920, Hutto was part of Lyndon B Johnson's presidential campaign for United States president. Two years later, Johnson won the election as president with support from Hutto residents. AfterJohnson's presidency, hutton reverted back to its previous name - Gastonia - before becoming an unincorporated community once again in 1928. In 1945, during World War II, hutton served as Headquarters for Army Air Forces Ninth Air Force while airfields were built nearby at Slaughter and Travis airport locations Today, there are fewer than 10 residents living in hutton proper; however, it remains an important part of local history and culture that can be seen throughout much of rural Bastrop County which surrounds it on all sides including within one mile or less radius depending on which side you are looking at John Hutton (1807-1886), father of John Hutton who donated land to createAustin TX In 1847 John Hutton came from Lancashire England and started a farm near present day Bastrop TX His son John Hutton Jr took over after him In 1870 Mr Hughes donated land north east corner lot #1 to help buildthe first courthouse & jail in Austin TX also this lot housed lots 2-4 homes owned by James Mclntyre prior to his death .. These Lots formed called "The Bushwhackers" development area today known as East Side Live Oak . Laws passed here during these early days made it easy for white men to start businesses like post offices & hotels etc ...... john hutton died age 77 years old Feb 26th 1886 just 3 weeks after donating this land
Hutto, Texas was founded in 1836 by Texans who migrated from the Mexican state of Coahuila and Chihuahua. The town was named for General Sam Houston, who helped lead the Texas Revolution against Mexico. Hutto grew rapidly after it became a part of the United States in 1845, thanks to its location on the Butterfield Overland Mail route. The cotton industry played a significant role in Hutto's development, and many resident families continued to work in the cotton fields until well into the 20th century. In 1960, Hutto was consolidated with other towns within the city of Austin to form the city of Austin-Hutto.
