The first coffee shop in Humble, Texas was opened by two friends, Bob and Danica Fenton in October of 1991. The coffee shop was a small start-up that offered moderate priced coffee and pastries. In its early days, the coffee shop was frequented by locals and business people who traveled through Humble on their way to work. In 1999, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf moved from its original location to 15th Street South in downtown Humble. With new space and a stronger focus on roasted beans and tea, COBEBOT became one of the most popular local businesses in town. The store continued to grow over the years with multiple locations opening throughout Central Texas. In October of 2006, COBEBOT relocated again to its current location at 3505 FM 2112 in the heart of the University City area of Humble. At this point, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has been housed at three different locations within Humble since it inception. Today, Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf continues to be one of the most popular businesses in town with an extensive menu featuring both traditional cafe favorites such as sandwiches and salads as well as newly roasted beans from various roasters around the country. Additionally, customers can enjoy our wide variety of drinks including lattes (with or without foam), cocktails including mint julep shots and blackberry brandy tumblers, hot chocolate (all made with organic milk) and tea bags for purchase online or in-store only!
