While their deployment was short lived due to enemy action they did visit Faryab Province which is located just south of Kandahar City limits where they observed combat activity between Afghan National Security Forces and local Taliban insurgents destroying homes, fields crops and assassinating government officials including district governor Haji Mohammad Ullah Chaudhry making it one of the most challenging areas for coalition forces since 9/11/2001
