The Bellaire Gun Club was organized in 1907. It is one of the oldest gun clubs in Texas and has been meeting since then to buy, sell and shoot firearms. In 1915, the club met for the first time outside of Bellaire and decided to form its own shooting range. The club bought a number of guns from various dealers throughout the state. It also made donations to other organizations that provide assistance to military veterans and their families. In 1921, the club opened its present clubhouse which is still used today. The club has hosted many firearm shows over the years as well as retiring members' meets where they debate topics such as "Gun Legislation in Texas" or how best to store their firearms safe and secure.

Bellaire, Texas, is a small town located in the far west side of Texas. It was founded in 1873 by George Washington Bell and his wife Ann. The town was named after General James Fenton, who helped lead the Texas Rangers during the Indian Wars. In 1907, Bellaire became an incorporated municipality. Today, it has a population of approximately 1,500 residents. The first settlers in Belaire were farmers from eastern Kentucky who came to live on land that had been donated to them by George Washington Bell and his wife Ann. The area that now includes Belaire was mostly level ground with few trees or hills present until around 1873 when George Washington Bell and his brother-in-law Allan erected a sawmill on the Arkansas River just east of town. By 1875, logging had started in this section of the state and many people needed new homes so they began buying property inBelaire for sale or lease as well as for grazing purposes on their farms outside of town. In 1907, when Belaire became an incorporated municipality under law at which time it adopted its current name it had a population of only 350 residents but due to increasing job opportunities and growth within the community there have been recent surges in population numbering up to 1,500 today! This incredible increase can be credited largely to two factors: (1) construction of new infrastructure such as water systems and streets since annexation; (2) growth within neighboring towns which have amalgamated into Belaire since incorporation making it easier for businesses to find employees – something that wasn’t always possible back when separate municipalities were necessary! Today’s businesses include groceries/restaurants/bars/cafés/laundry services etc., real estate development including several high-end condominiums/apartments/townhouses etc., shuttered factories from previous industries including candy companies like Burton Candy Company which closed its plant here in 1966 followed by Mattel Toys prior to closure in 1998), teaching facilities such as junior high school District #5 Schools (grades 7 through 12), adult education classes such as KIDS FIRST PROGRAMS®, night classes offered by Lighthouse United Methodist Church®, special events programming for schools and other organizations both local and statewide (*eagle hunting demonstrations being held EVERYDAY at various locations throughout year!), government services like fire departments (including a 9-1-1 emergency service*) Parks & Recreation providing programs like golf tournaments*, bicycle races*, quilting bee*es* etc., assisted living facility operated by volunteers from various churches across TX (*This particular assisted living home offers Memory Care with Activities & Daily Dining privileges for residents aged 80+, 90+, 100 years old or older!), nearby businesses selling goods related to arts & crafts (+EVEN ARTisan CRAFTING AND DECORATING items!), transportation options like taxi cabs*, Uber®† [*not available locally], dog walking services(*this business provides dog walking services ONLY within one mile radius OF their business location)), drugs (!*actual drug use within the community is not reported*) among others!
Bellaire is a city in the U.S. state of Texas, located in Bell County. The population was 9,819 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Dallas-Fort Worth metropolitan area. The first settler in what is now Bellaire was John Wesley Powell and his family who arrived in 1846 fromOhio. They started a small farm with six cows, four pigs, and one horse and buggy. In 1865, George Waddell founded a post office called "Waddell" after he discovered oil shale deposits on his property near present day Bellaire Boulevard and Slaughter Road east of downtown Dallas. The settlement grew slowly due to the prohibitive cost of land, but by 1880 it had attained a population of 50 people under the leadership of Postmaster Jno. Haggerty Sr.. In 1893 Haggerty purchased an additional parcel of land which became home to what is now Guaranty Bank (now Wells Fargo). In 1907 Bellaire's first school opened with 25 students grades K-12 and Mrss Fenton Headland and Frances Dean were principal teachers for 6 years before being replaced by Mr Cahn who also served as superintendent for 10 years until 1915 when he retired because of health problems associated with tuberculosis; Mrs Ethel Bigham then took over for him for 4 seasons until he died suddenly aged 54yrs on October 15th 1919 during World War I at Fort Worth Army barracks; Mrs Bigham continued teaching until her retirement in 1951 One year later on November 15th 1920 local citizens held their first public meeting to discuss ideas about formulating a town charter which ultimately resulted in incorporation into the City of Dallas on February 14th 1922 By 1930 there were more than 300 residents including 45 businesses within just 5 blocks limits making up what would become known as "the inner city." By 1945 all but 10 businesses had closed leaving only 16 residences inhabited within 1 block radius.; however this number dwindled rapidly when jobs opportunities relocated out west outsideDallas resulting in many families moving back into downtown areas while others ( primarily African Americans) abandoned their homes altogether during segregation laws becoming known as " White flight ." The last resident left behind vacated their home on December 24th 1946 when Arlington Fairgrounds closed following WWII . In 1952 incorporation into Dallas led to increased business activity throughout downtown Streetsboro although most residents chose not to move away from their neighborhoods Due largely to lack of opportunity quality schoolsChoice elementary/middle schools were established throughout central TX leading to neighborhood standardized tests starting 7th grade (1960) that continue through high school graduation today .
