Marines who are deployed for military service can often bring home a lot of different gifts. Whether it’s a new book, toy, or just some small token of appreciation, Marines have the ability to make any soldier’s Christmas that much more special. Here are 5 marine gifts that will sure to please! 1) A New Book A Marine who is deployed may not have the same amount of time to read as someone who is stationed at home. It’s important to keep your soldier gainful employment and stock up on new books when you can. Even if they don’t understand every word, seeing their name on the spine will give them something to look forward to each month while they serve our country. 2) Toys toys are always appreciated by children and marines alike- no matter what branch of service they belong to! When a child sees their favorite toy in another person’s arms, it gives them an image of hope and happiness far beyond anything they could ever experience at home. Marines also get a lot of love from their families during deployment, so giving something extra special like this can really mean the world. 3) Greeting Cards & Personalized Messages It wasn’t too long ago that Marines had only basic letterhead paper which limits what you can say on them (unless you want everyone knowing about your deployments). These days many services offer personalized greeting cards which include pictures and text from the marines themselves- making every little interaction with them that much more special. 4) Gadgets & Electronics Every day when we wake up we go through all sorts of thoughts as wemilitary tryto function in today society- let us not forget our amphibious brothers and sisters in blue! Many people find joy in taking things apart and fixing things- whether its turning an iPod into working again or building something custom for their loved ones back at home there is nothing like putting together a set of electronics for your marine friend/family member(s).
