The store continued to serve as a haven for people who liked their coffee strong and black while also providing an enjoyable atmosphere for customers to hang out in.In 1962, Coffee House became a part of the Memphis Coffee family and began serving its own unique blend of roasts from around the world including Africa, Indonesia, India and Brazil In 2002, Coffee House merged with two other stores within Memphis-owned convenience stores: One located at 12th & Vineyards Boulevard (now called KFC) off of I-459/I-575 near downtown Memphis while the other was located at 9th & Lamar Boulevard just east of downtown Memphis Today there are six Coffee Houses throughout Shelbyville TN that continue serving up delicious cup of Joe's every day!

Shelbyville is located in the southern third of Hardin County and falls within the Chattanooga–Nashville metropolitan area. The history of Shelbyville goes back to 1825 when a group of pioneers from Kentucky established a trading post on the banks of the Cumberland River in what is now known as Shelbyville. In 1828, General Andrew Jackson moved his headquarters from Nashville to Shelbyvilie after winning an election as President against John Quincy Adams. The post office was named for General Jackson and it remained so until 1939 when it was rename to honor Judge Clement Cooty Fenton who had served as Hardin County District Attorney from 1925-1929. In 1909, two brothers founded a paper mill that became one of the largest paper mills in Tennessee. Today's company started out with three men and has grown into one of the leading companies in eastern Tennessee with production totaling over 1 million pieces per day! The mill currently operates 9 paper machines including four rotary presses and five duplicating machines! In addition to its namesake product - Office Paper -the mill produces other popular products like Tissues, Books, Greeting Cards and more! In recent years they have also ventured into electronic media such as DVD's/Blu-ray players etc., making them one of southeastern Tennessee's biggest leaders in this industry!

It is the county seat of Shelby County and the largest city in Shelby County by population. The first white person to live in what became Shelbyville was James Mays who came from Kentucky in 1811. He built a home on an old grant of land near present-day downtown Shelbyville. A post office called Maysville was established in 1817, and remained in operation until it was discontinued in 1836. In 1826, Johnnie Ford bought the land that now forms downtown from James Mays. Ford started building one of the first buildings in town – the First National Bank Building – which still stands today on Main Street east of Market Square. In 1830, Daniel Boone moved his family to what is now northeast corner of Main and Elm Streets (now within walking distance of downtown). He founded the first church here – Second Presbyterian Church – which remains active today as St Andrew’s Anglican Church. After years of hard work and determination, Daniel Boone led his party across the mountains into northern Alabama during President Jackson’s Creek Expedition to explore new lands that would become west Tennessee (the so-called “Trail of Tears”). Upon their return they reported finding rich deposits of natural gas around this same area that led to their naming this area “Beale Field” after General George WASHINGTON Beale who explored this part of western Tennessee for US Patents #3 and #4 on November 8th, 1837; these patents were later issued as US Patent No 10362 & 10363 respectively The Beale Field stagecoach stop located just north east side off Court Street played an important role during early days when travelers had to cross overland from Louisville via Old Hickory Swamp to reach Nashville by way of Chattanooga Valley before traveling downriver through present day Clarksville en route back home again or continuing onward upriver all the way to Knoxville etc...Today you can visit Site#5697 along latitude 37° 17′ N longitude -884° 34′ W about 1 mile northeast from modern day business district
