It was only open for breakfast and lunch until 1978 when it moved to its current location on State Street. The first owner of the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf was Don Poston, who also served as the general manager from1978-1991. John Slatkin took over as general manager in 1991 and has been running the business ever since. In recent years, the Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf has become known for its unique brewing methods and amazing flavor profiles. They have a variety of roasts, beans, and syrups to choose from and their espresso drinks are always perfect for any time of day or occasion.
