This ordinance marked an important milestone in Manchester’s history as it began the process of social integration within its walls and helped Secure Unionism against internal threats from slaveowners throughout Reconstruction Era America. The town revitalized after Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005. Many businesses and homes were destroyed or damaged in that storm, but local citizens banded together to rebuild using a variety of temporary methods including wood burning ovens and tents. Manchester quickly became one of the most resilient communities post-Katrina – even going so far as to host a Miss USA pageant on stage during Mayor Tom Barrett’s weekly news conference! Despite this resilience, however, some residents still feel abandoned after more than two years since Hurricane Katrina struck – something which has led to tensions between those who support proactive rebuilding efforts and those who feel left out and neglected following the storm’s recovery phase. Manchester has seen many changes over its history; these include annexation by Shelby County in 1907; fire suppression ordinances passed in 1922; prohibition laws passed in 1933; WWII military barracks built on city property; suburban growth beginning around 1960; re-entry into downtown business after Katrina; current population size as of 2010
