The first permanent coffee farm was located near present-day Lebanon, and beans were grown and roasted here until 1893. Coffee consumption increased throughout the 1800s as railroads brought goods and people to the region, which included Lebanon and other surrounding towns. In 1907, Lebanese coffee growers pooled their resources to establish a cooperative society that would continue to produce excellent beans for export. In 1951, the cooperative was dissolved and its assets sold to another group of farmers; however, production continued until 1996. Today maga coffee is enjoyed by locals and visitors alike for its unique flavor profile and old-fashioned methods of production. The beans are roasted on large communal roasting machines that allow for a wide variety of roastings including light/dark roastings, sweet & sour blends, etc. Maga coffee is also used in several hot drinks such as iced tea or coffee with cream (maga tahini).

Lebanon, Tennessee is a small town in the greater Nashville area of Tennessee. The population was 3,723 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Davidson County municipality. The community began as a Presbyterian farmstead on what is now Lebanon Pike in 1851. By 1901 it had grown to include a Methodist church and school. The first post office in Lebanon opened in 1858. In 1865, the town became one of several towns consolidated into Nashville under the Mayor's Plan of 1866. Lebanon has been inhabited by various indigenous groups for centuries, including Cherokees and Chickasaws. European exploration began with James Robertson's expedition in 1799-1800 and his group's landing at modern-day Lebanon Cove on Cumberland River which led to the establishment ofKnoxville as the main settlement in what would become Tennessee. As early as 1800, white traders were active along Cumberland River; one account says that "the most extensive trade between this country and England takes place through these waters" (Goudreau). The first permanent settler was Alexander McKnight who arrived around 1814 from Scotland with his family and built a cabin on land grants he received from General Andrew Johnson (later president) as part of Creek Nation Land Acquisition Act of 1802 (Cleveland Museum). In addition to its agricultural potential, Lebanon also became known for its hemp production which increased during prohibition years because it could be used for rope production or papermaking without yielding any THC content when smoked (Willis 1998). A mill race located near present day downtownalis operated until about 1912 when water pressure caused by natural springs stopped mining operations; today only remnants of foundation can be seen lying beneath surrounding residential development . In 1830–31 Presbyterians established an academy at what is now West End Avenue & 15th Street in honor of their minister Rev John Knox who had died just two years earlier while missionary work among Native Americans near present day Chattanooga . In 1850s Lebanese Presbyterians founded another academy at Lenoir Road & Third Street where they educated Congregationalists displaced by American Civil War . A Presbyterian church was started up by settlers Simeon McMillin & Samuel Daye around 1860 but failed due to lack of members; within 10 years additional churches had been established throughout Williamson County mainly by Methodists attracted to religiousoleration laws enacted during Reconstruction era After World War II many people left rural areas for big cities like Nashville seeking jobs after desegregation moved Southwestern schools out Eastward into Memphis suburbs

By 1911, Lebanon had a school and two churches. However, World War I caused many businesses to close and reduce the population of Lebanon significantly. After the war ended, economic growth returned and by 1920 there were over 20 businesses in Lebanesetown. In 1975, Lebanon merged with neighboring towns of Easton and Maysville to form what is now known as Williamson County's only consolidated city/county government (although each municipality still has its own police force). Lebanon's sizable Irish community continued to exist until after World War II when they began moving away from ruralTennessee into larger metropolitan areas such as Dallas-Fort Worth or New York City; however some continue to live here through their descendants today
Lebanon, Tennessee was founded on December 8, 1819 by George Cayuga. The town is named after the Shia religious community that first settled there. It was originally part of Hardin County but it secession from the county in 1861. In 1876, Lebanon became a city and remains one to this day.
