Tactical coffee history in Jackson, Tennessee began with the first Confederate Coffee House, opened in 1866. The Coffee House was a popular spot for military and political officials to meet and drink coffee before and after meetings. The Coffee House closed in 1865, but reopened in 1867 as the First Baptist Church on Market Street. Reverend Elisha Griggs served as the first pastor at theChurch from 1867-1868. In 1870, a second Confederate CoffeeHouse was opened on Main Avenue near Belknap Street, which also served as a place for political and military leaders to drink coffee. From this location, theFirst Baptist Church moved to its current location on Elm Street in 1907. The Second Baptist Church operated from 1908-1960 at 715 Union Avenue east of town. It is believed that this church played an important role in developing Jackson into one of the most agricultural communities in Tennessee during this time period. After 1960, it ceased operation and all church materials were destroyed. In 1969, Tactical Coffee Co., Inc., was established as a business entity by Colonel Brent Auldson of Jackson Army National Guard unit #1 (now Southwest Tennessee Regional Command). Colonel Auldson began operating Tactical Coffee Company out of his home alongwith his wife Brenda Laddington Auldson (née Dixon) who became operational manager/owner/operator of Tacticalcoffeehouse@aol.com later renamed simply "TACO CO." This company continued operations until 2001 when it merged with numerous other local businesses forming TranSCooperative Enterprises LLC., which continues to operate today under new ownership with multiple locations throughout central TN including Knoxville and Chattanooga!

Over time, different shapes, sizes and brew methods became popular among coffee drinkers. Some of the earliest experiments with different brewing methods took place at a military post in Java during the 18th century. In the mid-19th century, Italian soldiers stationed in Java began drinking coffee made from Arabica beans. American officers who visited Java soon followed suit, introducing their own variations of roasts and brewing methods to the indigenous population. At this point, espresso was already being served as a morning drink in some parts of Europe. By 1913, Sweeney & Co., a coffee company based in New York City, had developed a standardized recipe for tactical coffee that enjoyed high popularity within the U.S military brass and diplomats abroad. The recipe has been reprinted multiple times over the years and is still used by some professional brewers today. In 1923, Sweeney &Co.'s president John Sweeney died after a long career of innovation within the industry. His son John Pugh continued to promote café style Coffee as well as develop new recipes throughout his career at Sweeney's Coffee Company until his death in 1984. WithJohnPugh's death came an era of change for tactical coffee as well as for Coffeeshops across America which began to experiment with unique roast styles and brewing methods that continue to influence today’s cup of java

Jackson, Tennessee is one of the smallest cities in the United States. The population was 7,644 at the 2010 census and it is located just east of Memphis, Tennessee. Jackson was founded by a group of men in 1812 as an agricultural community on the banks of the Mississippi River. The town grew rapidly during the antebellum period, thanks to its location on a key trade route and its access to water resources. By 1870, Jackson had become one of the most important cotton-growing towns in America. However, economic development slowed after Reconstruction ended in 1877. In recent years, however, Jackson has seen significant progress as a creative cultural center and business district. The history of Jackson begins with Nicholas Apperly and his group of settlers who arrived here in 1812. They were part of a small group that traveled from Kentucky to settle land near Memphis on what is now known as Middleton Road. The original inhabitants were Native Americans who lived along the riverbanks until they were forced to move due to Indian Removal policies under President James Knoppersadministration. Nicholas Apperlyand his fellow settlers began farming their new land in earnest within two years of arriving here. By 1830, they had erected some rudimentary buildings and begun trading with native nations for goods such as food and materials needed for agriculture. Apperly also built up relationships with local leaders which would later prove beneficial when he startedowning businesses in Jackson proper during Reconstruction period (1868-1877). During this time period, many African Americans relocated to Jackson from surrounding white communities because there was no opportunity for them to participate fully in society here at first glance given their race restrictions at that time – especially since black people were not allowed into whiteowned businesses or professions without special permission from their respective owners/masters/ownership groups (i.e., landlords). This situation changed following Reconstruction when all white supremacy eventually disbanded following General Andrew Johnson’s successful reelection as President in November 1876 citing “the restoration of justice” which came about through free voting practices implemented throughout portionsof America following Lincoln’s election victory four months earlier over Democrat John Fenton (see: American Civil War timeline). As a result of this changeJB White organized blacksmiths and carpenters into unions known collectively as “3Masons”to better compete against otherwhite employers within Nashville area during early 19th century industrial revolution (See: American Industrial Revolution timeline) . It wasn't until 1865 that African Americans finally received full citizenship rights under initial reconstruction legislation passed by Congress but only after several decades long struggle led by famed abolitionist Frederick Douglass . After coming out storyteller Ida B Wells published her bestseller "The Souls Of Black Folk"in 1901 denouncing Jim Crow laws across North America then powerful Baptists like Sam Houston started sponsoring public education campaigns among blacks starting around 1903 providing vocational opportunities not available beforehandamong other things JB White opened first blackowned grocery store inside city limitsin 1903 followed shortly thereafterby dozens more stores across entire city over subsequent decades culminatingin present day downtown core where multiple restaurants , high end boutiques ,[and] major hotels are located today including Marriott Memphis International Airport CourtyardPlanters apartment complex & First Baptist Church
The Jackson County Courthouse was built in 1868 and is located in the town of Jackson. The courthouse was designed by architect John Wesley Hardin and is a two-story, red brick building with a white picket fence around it. It has a stepped parapet on one side and is equipped with an underground parking garage.
