The first Javits Island roasters were located on the eastern side of Hempstead Point on Long Island Sound where today’s town of Hempstead stands. The development of automated roasting systems began in earnest during World War II when large quantities of Italian coffees were needed for American soldiers overseas. At first these systems were manually operated by skilled operators using small ovens and fires; however, with the introduction of automatic roasting machines it quickly became an industry standard. During World War II 90% of all global production came from Italy which helped contribute significantly to world trade while concurrently developing its own roast technology that would later be exported to other countries throughout the world). One such machine operator was Angelo Trieste who ran his own small business across two floors of an old building at 5th Avenue between 42nd Street and 43rd Street in Manhattan’s Financial District until his death in 1964 aged 86 years). Bristol, Tennessee is a small town in the eastern part of Tennessee. The population was 1,868 at the 2010 census and it is the county seat of Davidson County. Bristol is located in southeastern Tennessee on the Cumberland River. It has a humid subtropical climate with very hot summers and mild winters. The name Bristol may come from Old English "brita", meaning "bridge" or "tunnel". In 1795, James Robertson founded what would become Bristol Township. He named his new township after his birthplace, Broxbourne in England. At that time there were no bridges across the Cumberland River so Robertsons had to build one himself to enter his new town. Bristol began as a farming community and gradually became an industrial center due to its location on the river and its mills which produced cloth, paper, tobacco, shoes and other items for local consumption and export. Coal mining started soon after World War I but declined in popularity until more recently due to environmental concerns about mine sites close to water supplies used by people living near Bristol. Today's economy mostly consists of health care services and retail trade with some light manufacturing operations done locally such as homebuilding materials and electrical equipment

By 1872, all but one of America's ten largest brewers had bought Ethiopian Beersheba Coffee from Rahab traders. Fresh roasted coffee became popular throughout much of Europe during this period due to its high quality and unique flavor profile. In North America, fresh roasted coffee was initially limited to English-speaking countries such as Great Britain and Canada where it continued to be popular until relatively recent times. During his reign as King of Norway (1914-1918), Haakon VII introduced new methods for roasting coffee that resulted in a stronger cup with more flavor than ever before. This innovation led himto become known as the "Father of Fresh Roasted Coffee." As world trade shifted towards heavier items like cocoa beans and oil shipments, fresh roasted coffee found itself increasingly displaced as the number one choice among grocery store customers throughout much of continental Europe during the 20th century. However, it remained popular enough within Continental Europe that some smaller breweries still continued to make fresh roasted coffee up until World War II when production moved entirely towards ground bean production under military contracts ameliorating some OFA concerns about possible chemical damage to freshly processed coffees).
