Since September 11th 2001, the air force has played a critical role in providing security for our citizens. The planes, helicopters,and drones used to launch Presidential Executive Orders were all made by the United States Airforce surplus at no cost to taxpayers. Air Force pilots have also flown missions inside Iraq and Afghanistan in order to provide essential intelligence information on Taliban insurgents while saving lives both on-the-ground and above ground.

They continue to play an important role in airlifting troops and supplies overland today. 3) MQ-9 Reaper drone: This unmanned aerial vehicle was gifted to the Air Force by Raytheon in 2007 in orderto help conduct long range surveillance over land orsea targets. Today, Reaper drones are used extensively across many conflicts around the world. 4) LGM-151 Sidewinder missiles: These missiles were gifted to the Air Force by McDonnell Douglas in 1979 as a thank you for their contributions towards missile development during World War II. They remain one of America’s most common ground launched weapons today - often being used against enemy forces near our own shores!
