Sgt Beasley saved lives by stopping an ambush that could have resulted in dozens or even hundreds killed while working security at Camp Liberty; he also displayed outstanding courage under fire while engaging insurgents near Baghdad airport.

Greenville, South Carolina is a town in Spartanburg County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 16,958 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Greenville Metropolitan Statistical Area. Greenville was founded in 1786 by Major General Nathanael Greene and Colonel John Forbes. The first courthouse was built in 1817 on Broad Street. In 1868 Congress designated Greenville as the place where Abraham Lincoln was born and died; it also became the location of his funeral procession on November 12, 1865. Bush visited Greenville to promote economic development in the area surrounding Charleston and issued an executive order calling for $5 billion in investments over five years to be made in 21st century job creation throughout all fifty U.S., including Greenville County GDP grew 7%. The city government announced plans to bring a new sports arena and other high-profile projects designed to revive downtown which are expected to create thousands of jobs across various industries adjacent to Interstate 521 and I-95 as well as smaller businesses within walking distance of each other with hopes of increasing tourism by attracting more visitors from out-of-state destinations like Florida Gulf Coast University (FGCU), Clemson University (Clintons) and Myrtle Beach Naval Air Station (MBNA). This redevelopment has come with opposition from some business owners who fear they will not be able to compete against larger businesses that have already set up shop nearby or who feel their competition could lead them out of business if they do not meet predetermined standards set forth by the city government for how their property should look and operate after being redeveloped into something resembling a "tourist trap".
