Easley is a city in the U.S. state of South Carolina, located on the Ashley River. As of the 2010 census, the population was 508, up from 486 at the 2000 census. Easley is home to Clemson University and The Citadel Military Academy, two ofrd most powerful military academies in America. The city was founded by white settlers in 1820 as a small farmstead called "Willow Grove." The first post office was established in 1829 and remained open until 1865; Easley's first mayor was John Broughton. The town hall and courthouse were built between 1830 and 1840. In 1851, Easley became an independent town under Confederate General Pee Wee Crayton; it joined Union forces during World War II but reverted to Confederates after the war ended. In 1870, Easley had a population of about 100 people; by 1910 its population had grown to 350 people. At that time, there were only three churches in town: one Baptist, one Methodist and one Roman Catholic. By 1920, there were six churches and thirty-six businesses in Easley; by 1930 its population had increased to 1,500 people . A new high school opened in 1939 which quickly became known as "The Birthplace of Clemson University". From 1942-1945, when Fort Bragg closed down all U S military schools due to Japanese attack Pearl Harbor (Easley's only school), Easley served as both main campus for Clemson Agricultural College(now Clemson University)and also acted as a base camp for students used during their stay at Fort Bragg - this made it possible for them not only study at their own school but also experience combat training while still living within walking distance of their academy buildings! During World War II many locals worked on aircraft production plants set up throughout North Carolina; however due to wartime restrictions on transportation these plants could not bring workers back into town so many local men enlisted or volunteered with the United States Army Air Forces instead becoming part of Bomber Command flying over Europe Airfields such as RAF Tewkesbury – providing cover for Allied ground troops fighting against Nazi Germany Today much like before much economic development has taken place with new businesses opening up along Ashley River Road including restaurants such as Red Lobster & Everything python's filling up shops across from creek where we take our drive out every day

This allowed Frenchmen to taste the unique flavor profile of Indonesian coffee without having to go through Spain or the Philippines! Eventually, different countries decided to import their own types of coffee beans (e.g., Italian Beans became Brazilian), which led to different flavors being developed throughout history! Today’s espresso machines are designed specifically for different types of coffees (e.g., Ethiopian/Java/ Papua New Guinea). Each type of bean produces a unique flavor that can only be experienced when drinking that specific type of coffee!

Easley is a town in Richland County, South Carolina, United States. The population was 2,924 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Columbia Metropolitan Statistical Area. Easley was founded in 1834 and named for Major General Richard Easley, who led Confederate forces during the American Civil War. Easley has a rich history that can be found in its many buildings and sites dating back to the early 1800s. One of the earliest settlers in Easley was John Pemberton, who arrived in 1802 and built a gristmill on Clearwater Creek. In 1805, Pemberton married Sarah Goode and they started a family of six children. Over time, other residents erected homes around the mill until it had twelve buildings by 1830. In 1834, Major General Richard Easley ordered his men to cross over into neighboring Union County to help fight against potential slave rebellions there. When they reached Easley on December 12th of that year they were met with hostility from local African Americans who considered him their champion when it comes to fighting against slavery. After some skirmishes and several captures by Union forces (including one of Easley's own citizens), General Easley withdrew his troops back towards Columbiaburg where he eventually surrendered on January 6th 1865 after three days of battle. It wasn't until 1850 that any permanent structures were erected in what would become present-day Easley; these included a Baptist church (1851), school (1853), post office (1857), courthouse (1861) and jail (1863). With such an early start to life here, much of what exists today can be traced back to this period including infrastructure like roads and dam construction which continue up through present day town core . The first store opening here happened on October 20th, 1868 when A H & S Store started selling groceries from their truck across from modern day Walmart . Initially located on Main Street near current day US 27A , soon after they relocated their business inside what is now downtown square . By 1870 they had outgrown their original location so another store was built just east of US 27A – this time called The Post Office House - which still stands today next door to Walmart Square . From here things began to rapidly grow as businesses opened up all around town: First Wagon Wheel Tavern became popular due its indoor heated pool (!), Second Presbyterian Church got organized with services starting at 7 p m., Third Baptist Church opened up right next door (#2BC also still standing today) while Fourth Baptist Church #3Church moved into new building west side opposite river frontage in 1895-. All told there are over 120 businesses active within town limits today! Interestingly enough all but two have been operating continuously since then! Although growth has come at a cost with numerous storefronts closed or converted into restaurants or bars over the years – slowly but surely those days are numbered as more people prefer online shopping etc.–Easley continues striving hard everyday “to keep our community moving forward” according to Mayor [Joe] Dantzler[…..]. Today’s success story began small – with challenges faced daily long before anyone knew about social media or email marketing...oddly enough we continue down that path every day!
