Williamsport is a town in Lackawanna County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 21,811 at the 2010 census. It is located on the south bank of the Susquehanna River. Williamsport was founded in 1788 and was one of the original 10 towns in Lancaster County. The population declined during the 18th century and by 1800 it had only 5 inhabitants. However, during the 19th century it grew rapidly as a result of its location on the Susquehanna River and its connection to neighboring Philadelphia via railroads. Williamsport became an industrial center due to its position on a strategic shipping route between Philly and Pittsburgh. During World War II it became an important munitions production center for the Allied forces because of its proximity to Nazi Germany. Williamsport experienced some significant growth during the late 20th century as a result of waves of inward migration from rural America into city areas throughout Pennsylvania and Northeast Ohio. This trend has slowed since 2000 but continues to influence local demographics in ways that are not yet fully understood. In addition, new neighborhoods have been built around existing downtowns and along major transportation corridors such as Interstate 76 or Route 22 (the former Erie Canal). These developments have helped create what could be called "downtown Williamsport" – a mixture of older buildings dating back to before 1860 with contemporary mixed-use development nearby – while also providing new housing opportunities for many workers who commute into downtown from outlying villages or townships

Ugandan coffee became known as Central African Coffee because it was first grown in Central African Republics (now Cameroon). Finally, Turkish merchants discovered Kenya and started to trade with that country for coffee in 1895-96. This led to the creation of two new countries: Ethiopia and Kenya!
