Uniontown is a small town in Butler County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 1,746 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Pittsburgh metropolitan area. Uniontown was founded in 1793 by George Washington and his aides as a military post on the Monongahela River. The Post was abandoned in 1814 and later merged with nearby Westmoreland to form Uniontown Borough. In 1830, Uniontown became the seat of Butler County when it was created from parts of Allegheny and Huntingdon counties. The borough continued to exist until 1907 when it merged with surrounding townships to form Butler Township. After being annexed by Pittsburgh in 1907, Uniontown lost its borough status and became an unincorporated community within the city limits of Pittsburgh. The first coffee roasting company in what is now Uniontown was established by David Garrick Potter in 1825 as First National Coffee Company Ltd., operating out of a log cabin located near present-day US 27/PA 168 intersection on the Monongahela River floodplain about two miles downstream from where the town now stands (the current site of Third Street Bridge). Potter's business was eventually bought by John Aiken and moved to its current location next door to Aiken's grocery store on Third Street in 1865, changing hands again several times before becoming Girard & Garrick Coffee Co., Incorporated effective February 1, 1918. During World War II, many industries such as munitions plants were located around or within blocks of downtownPittsburgh which made for some interesting coffee consumption experiences for residents there during wartime because almost all commercial streetcars stopped running between Downtown and South Side areas during WWII due to lack of space (and because most people living near these factories had no choice but to drink coffee). Additionally, while much residential north-south traffic passed through downtown during peacetime yearsMods tired after days spent stuck at home watching buses stop at every crosswalk across North Side streets) Due to this congestion (and limited access due mainly to parked cars along Second Mile wide centralBUSINESS district), many people also began enjoying fresh roasted coffee purchased directly from local roasters direct from their plantations outside of downtownPittsburgh during wartime years...In fact one can still purchase freshly roasted coffee today from most major roasters located near Second Mile wide central BUSINESS district including Kaldi’s Ethiopian Bazaar & café on Forbes Avenue just east off US 2 close enough so that you can watch cars pile up behind them waiting for their turn at the stoplight)

In 1824, General James Hays founded what would become one of the largest paper companies in America with his plant at Uniontown. After World War II, Uniontown became an important manufacturing center for paper products such as milk pails and boxes, among other items. Ground Java Bean production resumed once war ended but only until about 1960 when espresso machines became more prevalent throughout most developed societies making fresh roasted bean production economically feasible again for many cafes/restaurants/industrial users/coffee house owners who desired purebred Kopi-Laut (or Koffeepot) quality cup of Joe every morning at least once a week - allowing them to maintain an authentic landmark product line tradition back then!
