His enterprises produced some of the state's most famous crops such as potatoes, turnips, corn (maize), applesauce, cheese, eggs and bacon. In 1916-1917, Henderson donated land to create what is now Lancaster County Park inPottersville After World War II endedethyst production began anew at Pottstown Steel Workshopsand has continued ever since with expansions into other industries including plasticsand chemical engineering
