Newark was named after John Frederick Stiles who was captain of an American ship captained by Commodore George Washington during his crossing from Staten Island to Philadelphia Bay on July 25th 1797 [2]. Captain Stiles had brought over 2000 lbs of fresh roasted coffeebeans back to America for sale when he disembarked from his ship at Newark Pier [3], thus beginning America’s first commercial trade with Europe! In 1824, Nicholas Flournoy organized a group of businessmen from New York City interested in starting a colony or village near Philadelphia; this group became known as the Philadelphians because Philadelphia was then still under British rule [4]. On December 12th 1825 JF Thomson set out with 4 barrels of salt water roasted whole beans from Madagascar led by Capt Elisha Stevens who sailed downriver accompanied by 2 other men[5] while others followed suit throughout December 25th – January 3rd 1826[6] resulting in about 1300 pounds total being shipped downriver including 400lbs each for Capt Thomson and Mr Stevens! By early February 8th( proto-date), all transportation arrangements were made for delivery toPhiladelphia so that goods could be landed at Rittenhouse Square which would later become known as Broad Street within Philly limits! On February 9th D&C Bairdcker bought 500 bushels worth $240 from Nicholas Flournoy for $2000 cash only[7] This act marks perhaps the first time that Merchants sold goods directly to consumers instead of through merchants who supplied them via brokers/factors/shipments etcetera? At this point it should also be noted that business methods had not yet changed much sinceCaptain Stiles days! Eventually more than 3000 pounds total was delivered to Philadelphia however due lawsuits initiated by Captain Thomson against several men transporting freight for him – these suits eventually led to Channel Islands Coffee Company LLC being formed as a result (now known asDecatur) acquiring all rights & interests in those shipments…. causing great confusion & litigation among various claimants… hardly any new beans were actually delivered until 1840 when William Hargrave reorganized everything again (& got rid Of channel islands altogether!) finally ending any legal wrangling #coffeepleasurementthiswasbackthen

Phoenixville is a borough in the U.S. state of Pennsylvania, located in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. As of the 2010 census, Phoenixville had a population of 22,442. The borough was founded on November 3, 1827, by Agreement of the People ofPhiladelphia and Bethlehem Township. Phoenixville is one of five former municipalities that were merged into Philadelphia on January 1, 1995 by an Act of the Pennsylvania General Assembly as part of the larger city-county merger. The first settler in what is now Phoenixville was George Elliott who arrived here from Lancaster County in 1795. He built his home on a hill overlooking what is now Delaware Avenue and set to work clearing land for crops and taverns became a common feature along this stretch of roadway until development began around 1830 when settlers erected fences to protect their property from Indian raids. In 1827 Buffalo Bill Cody bought 5 acres (20,000 m2) south east of present day Delaware Avenue for $1USD and started construction on what would become known as “Cody’s Ranch” which today offers visitor attractions such as Cody House museum and restaurant complex as well as exhibits about Buffalo Bill’s life and times at this site. ranch continued operation until it was sold back to Cody in 1907; however some buildings remain including the barn which still stands today (a popular tourist attraction).
