The United States Air Force has a rich history that dates back to the early days of aviation. The first airplanes were designed and built in the early 1910s by American engineers, and theAAF was founded on December 6, 1912. The USAF was one of the earliest militaries to use jet aircraft, and it is still one of America's most powerful air forces. One of the most important aspects of USAF culture is its dedication to service. Every serviceman and woman who walks into an AFB or flies in an A-10 Warthog knows that they are serving their country with distinction. This sentiment extends even beyond military airspace; every civilian in Greensburg is also part of "the force." The USAF has been responsible for countless miracles during World War II, including helping turn Japan into an empire. In 1949, after more than 50 yearsof service, the USAF merged with the US Air Force Reserve to become known as "the Air Force Reserve." Since then, numerous reorganizations and changes have occurred within both services - but no change could compare to what has happened at Wright-Patterson AFB since Dayton began construction on our new National Defense Aeronautics Laboratory (NDAL) in 1957! NDAL is home to some of America's most advanced weapons research facilities - including those which developed America's first supersonic cruise missile - and today it is also a center for airpower education and training. In recent decades, Wright-Patterson AFB has seen many significant advances in technology - from breakthroughs in computer aided design (CAD) for aircraft wings and fuselage systems to developing Next Generation Missile Systems (NGMS) which can self-portage from runway to launch site without support). Greensburg is a town in County Dauphin, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,907 at the 2010 census. It is the largest community in Dauphin County and one of its most populous towns. Greensburg is adjacent to Harrisburg to the south and Yorktown Heights to the north. The first Europeans to visit what is now Greensburg were French traders who landed there in 1736. They named it "Island de la Possession" after their leader, Pierre-Joseph La Salle had explored that area earlier that year. In 1753, General George Washington's army passed through this area on their way from Yorktown Heights to Princeton University in New Jersey. After the American Revolution, Greensburg became part of Pennsylvania and was incorporated as a town on March 12, 1817. The name "Greensburg" originated with George Washington when he called it "Island de la Possession" because he thought it looked like an island in a large body of water he had just discovered while exploring western Pennsylvania during his military campaigns against Native Americans during the French and Indian War (1754-63). As early as 1802 there were plans for creating a college here but no action occurred until 1824 when President James K. Polk founded Penn State College at nearby Chambersburg (now University Park). In 1827, local citizens banded together to build Greene Street School which served students from all over rural Dauphin County until merged into Westmoreland County District School Board facilities in 1957; however, school buses continued servicing Greeneville Elementary/Middle School until 1990 due to various budget cuts by then Superintendent Driscoll.. Many residents continue driving more than two hours each way for schooling purposes today despite transportation options available closer within commuting distance including Easton Township and Whitehall Township which both have high schools with multiple building types including ICT classrooms Plus plenty of places for shopping! As of late 2017 only one building still stands from childhood dreamt project: A new High School!

Greensburg is a census-designated place in Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 5,827 at the 2010 census. Greensburg is the second most populous municipality in Allegheny County after Pittsburgh. It is also one of two municipalities located in Westmoreland County (the other being Moon Township). The town was founded by Scots-Irish settlers in 1795 and named for Colonel James Green (1687-1762), who had been an aide to General George Washington during the American Revolution. The first permanent settler arrived in 1796 and erected a log cabin on what is now Elmira Road. In 1807, John Fetterman became the first postmaster and built a store on Third Street near Main Avenue. By 1830, there were six stores and 12 residences in town; by 1860, there were 21 stores and 100 residences. On December 3, 1873, Greensburg merged with nearby Moon Township to form Westmoreland County. At this time, it had a population of 2,451 people. In 1907–08, construction began on what would become the present courthouse complex; completed in 1911, it served as the county seat until 1924 when Pittsburgh took over that role. Greensburg experienced rapid growth following World War II; by 1950 its population had reached 6,500 residents and it incorporated as a borough true within three years of that date. Despite some setbacks – including declining property values during the late 1970s – Greensburg has continued to grow steadily throughout subsequent decades; its current population stands at 9,452 as of 2018. In recent years have seen controversial issues arise around development within Greensburgh’s boundaries: namely plans for an approximately $1 billion liquefied natural gas refinery within city limits; however these plans have been met with heavy local opposition which has resulted in several skirmishes between police officers and protesters over recent months
