The Air Force Museum in Emmaus, Pennsylvania is home to the most comprehensive collection of airforce memorabilia in the United States. The museum was established in 1961 and features more than 2,500 items from the U.S. Air Force and its allies around the world. The museum has a variety of exhibits on military aviation history, World War II airmen and women, tactical jets, missiles and artillery systems, and more. In addition to displays on aircraft models and artifacts from various air forces service branches, there are also galleries devoted to history of munitions research, space exploration/defense science, popular culture related to the USAF during different eras, aircraft restoration/modification projects (including a restored P-51 Mustang airplane), as well as an Aircraft Restoration Gallery for advanced fighter planes such as the F-16C/D Eagle or F-35A Joint Strike Fighter.

The Emmaus Air Force Base Gift History began in late 1951 with the dedication of a new hangar and training range at the base. The gift of two F-4 Phantom fighter jets to the Air National Guard was an important milestone in this time period. In 1955, the Air Force purchased its first Boeing 727-200 for use as a cargo plane and named it "Emmaus 1". This plane served as the primary transportation provider for Air National Guard members and other military personnel stationed at Emmaus AFB from 1955 until 1997. In 1957, General Electric donated four C-130 Hercules planes to be used as passenger carriers on flyovers and airshows throughout Pennsylvania. These planes flew over various areas of the state providing demonstrations of GE's products and services. From 1967 until 1991, Emmaus AFB hosted a summer tourist program called "Airport Days" which featured various aircraft displays, concerts, exhibits, food vendors, etc. during July/August in conjunction with Bethlehem Area Convention Center (BAC) events. In 1992, Lockheed Martin gifted three C-5 Galaxy transport planes to serve as airborne drop sites for search and rescue missions when needed around the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania during winter weather conditions. These planes were later renamed "Emmaus 3" after General Dynamics' former facility at Elmira Army Ammunition Plant in New York State where these operations were conducted. In 2000, United States Marine Corps Museum donated two MC-8H Dolphin helicopter flights based out of Marine Corps Base Quantico Virginia to help support visitor activity at Emaus AFB during October celebrations related to 100 years since America's entry into World War I! This was followed by anotherMC-8H flight donation in 2003 which also supported visitor activities at Emaus AFB that year! Aircraft donations continue to be common at Emmaus AFB with many different types being accepted over time including jet fighters (F-4 Phantoms & F/A-18 Hornets), cargo airplanes (C-130s & C-7 Globemasters), helicopters (MC-8H Dolphinplanes & CH-46E Sea Stallions), submarines (USS Constitution Museum donation), cars (Ford Pinto coupes & Mercury Marinas), tents (United States Naval Academy tent giveaway event) and more!
Emmaus, Pennsylvania is a small town in Susquehanna County, Pennsylvania. The population was 1,829 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Susquehanna River. The name Emmaus comes from German immigrants who named their farm "Emmaus". In 1848, Reverend David Levy and his wife Mollie arrived in Emmaus from Lancaster County, Pennsylvania. They started a Methodist congregation and soon began to evangelize the area. Reverend Levy also built a schoolhouse in Emmaus which became the first public school in Susquehanna County. In 1865, Reverend George Crouch founded what would become Bethlehem Baptist Church in Emmaus. This church would serve as the center of evangelical Christianity throughout much of PA until it was closed by state government action in 1978. Today, Emmanuel United Methodist Church continues to serve as one of Christ's most important places of worship for all ages in Emmaus! Today, Emmaus remains an active community with its own businesses and cultural attractions that attract people from all over PA and beyond!

Emmaus is a small town located in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 573 at the 2010 census. Emmaus is home to the Emmaus Historical Museum and the Emmaus Evangelical Lutheran Church. It has been identified as an "exceptional" place by the National Register of Historic Places. The town was first settled in 1795 by German immigrants who named it after their hometown of Emmendingen, Germany. The first settler was Johann Friedrich Hessbach. By 1801, there were ten families living in what is now Emmaus. In 1814, Samuel Christianson became the first blacksmith in Emmaus and also opened a one-room school for white children on Main Street. In 1825, John Scherrer donated land to build a church under construction on Main Street; the church was dedicated on October 25th of that year. Reverend James Fenton preached at its dedication and served as pastor from 1827 until his death two years later. Pastor Fenton's successor, Reverend John Hiebert began services on October 1st of 1830 and held those until his death in 1840; he was succeeded by Reverend Augustus Herrick who served until 1861 when Revolutions swept through America and he had to flee to England because of it On December 3rd, 1861, President Abraham Lincoln delivered his inaugural address from Old Capitol Hill within walking distance of Emmaus following its incorporation into York County as part of that county's consolidation with Berks County It soon became clear that York County could not handle all the new arrivals so on January 1st1862 Governor Andrew Johnson ordered all counties be compelled to admit non-white residents including those in Berks which resulted in Emmaus joining York County rechristened "Emmas" during this time In 1863 General Ambrose Burnside arrived at Gettysburg with over 10000 soldiers and upon reaching Emmas they found only 6 people living there while 10 barns were used for storage As per orders from General Burnside every male over 16 must have filed military registration cards which included information such as occupation ( soldier or farmer ) along with photograph which would allow officials access to future benefits like veterans' pensions
Emmaus was founded in 1795 by John and Anna Wise. The town was named after Emmaus, an ancient village in Galilee, which John had visited while on his honeymoon. The first settler, Eliakim Howe, arrived in 1796. In 1811, the town received a charter from the Pennsylvania General Assembly. Emmaus became a borough in 1870 and a city in 1907.
