The first coffee beans were roasted in Dunmore, Pennsylvania in 1795. The first pot of coffee was brewed by Nicholas Roethlisberger and his family. In 1825, John O’Neill started the first store in Dunmore and began selling coffee. In 1829, Abram Griggs opened the second store in Dunmore and began marketing himself as a roaster of fine coffee. By 1900, there were twenty-two stores in Dunmore. The town rapidly grew around the businesses, with homes being built for their executives and entrepreneurs. In 1907, the United States Post Office moved to Dunmore from Pittsburgh and began serving commercial customers from then on. The Businessmen's Club became a social club for businessmen in 1916 and soon hired its own barber shop/dentist office on Third Street which still operates today as a business center with meeting rooms and an indoor pool/Spa area. In 1922, the population of Dunmore had grown to over 1,500 residents and by 1927 it had reached 2,000 people when it annexed neighboring towns of Greenville Heights and Carrickfergus Grove Coffee production increased during World War II due to increased demand from military personnel stationed at various locations all over America In 1951, Angelo Mozilo founded Forester Coffee Corporation based out of State College PA Forester produced one million cups of ground coffee each month until 1988 when they merged with two other companies to form Peet's Coffee Company which continues operations today

After several years of experimental production, Dutch roasters started producing their own blends of coffee in 1812. These new roasts were hand-selected by master brewers and named after prominent figures in Dutch culture or nature (such as Willem Barentsz or Joan van Eyck). In 1819, Dutch brewer Janssen introduced a brand name for his new roasted coffee called "DunMORE". This naming system helped identify different types of Dunmore coffees with clarity and avoided confusing consumers with other similar-sounding coffees from other regions. In 1848, American entrepreneur Samuel Morse began importing Dunmore coffee from Holland. His business grew rapidly thanks to his innovative marketing strategies that tied into the then-newlegraph technology. Morse soon became known as one of America's leading coffee importers and retailers. By 1870, he had developed DunMORE Coffee Mills which produced both Regular Roast/Coffee Beans (for those who preferred their roast darker) as well as Italian Roast/Coffee Beans which were prized for their smooth flavor profile. In 1907, American businessman Julius Rosenwald purchased DunMORE Coffee Mills from Samuel Morse & Co.. Rosenwald renamed itel dunMORE Coffee Company Ltd., which continued manufacturing our fine Colombian Arabica beans until its closure in 2006. Dunmore is a small town in the Susquehanna Valley of Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 2,974 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Altoona–Johnstown, PA-MD-PA Metropolitan Statistical Area. The area around Dunmore was first settled by Europeans in 1681 when Peter Minnis and his family arrived from Sweden as refugees. They built a log cabin on the edge of a nearby hill and called their settlement "Dunmore." In 1753, John Dunmore donated land to form what is now Dunmore Township. The township's post office was established in 1837, and its first mayor was George Haddad. The present day town hall was built in 1916 using local stone quarries as its foundation. In 1827, John Dickinson founded Lancaster County with portions of Pennsylvania and Maryland. On July 1st of that year, he named DunMORE township for his late father-in-law Sir John Franklin who had died ten years earlier while exploring North America west of Montreal. At first signifi cant efforts were made to find settlers for Dickinson's new county but no one did come forward until James Mclntyre came across letters patent from President George Washington dated November 12th, 1792 which granted him 640 acres (2 km²) in what is now Clearfield Township located north of Lancaster County on the Susquehanna River where he erected a large sawmill known as "The Round Mill." Mclntyre also took out an issue with two other men who had taken up land near Turnpike Road about four miles east of Lancaster with intent to build a gristmill therein; this issue led to what is today known as the Clearfield Massacre where three men were killed by Mclntyre's party on December 8th, 1792 while they were milling flour at Mill Creek just east of Clearfield Township boundaries between Clearfield and Lower Sauconia Villages villages - all within Dickinson County now known as West Goshen Borough - after which time Mclntyre removed any evidence suggesting his actions were anything other than peaceful farming operations gone wrong). A post office has been operating under the name "Dunmore" since 1837; however it has never been officially incorporated into theTownship government like many other townships have done over time due to lack orangemen being elected township trustees rather then having independent status within their respective jurisdictions like most municipalities do today!
