In the late 1800s, the United States Air Force was a fledgling service. It had only been established in 1907 and its first planes were nothing more than two small biplanes. The Air Force fought in World War I and World War II, but it didn't become a powerful force until after the Second World War. The USAF was formed as a result of the Korean War, when America needed to respond quickly to North Korea's launch of missiles into our airspace. The USAF is one of the most versatile military services in the world, being able to fight both on land and in air space. Today, the USAF has over 100,000 personnel worldwide and operates more than 200 aircraft types. It's also responsible for providing protection for America's allies around the world – from Syria to South Korea to Japan – and conducting nuclear deterrence tests across many continents. The Air Force Gift History is something that goes back centuries, even before America became an superpower. In 1815, Congress created what would become known as "the United States Military Academy at West Point." At West Point, students studied law and armsmanship under experienced officers such as George Washington himself. This experience would later be put to use when American forces fought during wars such as The Revolution and The Civil War. After The Civil War ended in 1865, American troops continued their fighting tours throughout Europe - where they acquired some of the most famous battlefield successes ever seen by Americans (e.g., Gettysburg). These experiences taught young men how important it was for them to maintain good order on battlefields while also learning about strategy – skills that they would use again during World Wars II and Vietnam%. As America began its march into global influence in the late 19th century, it found itself forced to field large numbers of planes just to provide cover for warships at sea or support army movements inland across vast landscapes (such asgalloping through Mexican deserts). To make up for this lack of capability during peacetime, Congress passed legislation authorizing a new branch of service: aviation! And so we have today's American Air Force!

Bloomsburg is a town in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 10,527 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Reading Borough metropolitan area. The first settlers to what is now Bloomsburg were farmers and their families who migrated from Lancaster County in 1795. In 1814, Captain John Prentice founded the first school in what is now Bloomsburg, which he called "Prentice's Schoolhouse." The school continued until 1881 when it became a public high school and eventually merged with Harriton High School. In 1892, Mayor James H. Kapp organized a committee to develop plans for developing town land into homesites that would be available for purchase by residents. The resulting plat of "Plat of Development" served as the foundation for today's community center complex on Market Street and remains one of the most well-preserved early 20th century village development plans in Pennsylvania. The Bloomsburg Historical Society was chartered in 1909 and began collecting artifacts from throughout the history of Bloomsburg including photos and historical records from original settler families as well as local businesses who contributed items such as tools or equipment used during early farmsteads - these are currently stored at our former high school building on State Avenue near Interstate 81) . Over time we have also collected films (including vintage home movies), postcards, calendars and other memorabilia important to our community’s history In 1961, Bethlehem Steel Corporation moved its operations out of steel mills located along I-81 north towards Allentown after more than 50 years of production there. After much discussion within the community about where to locate their new plant Sampling Point Boulevard became an important alternate choice due to its close proximity to all aspects of life withinbloomsburg while still having access to major highways like I-81
The United States Air Force is a military branch of the federal government of the United States. The USAF provides air support for land, sea and air operations in many parts of the world. The USAF operates more than 150 bases worldwide and has over 55,000 active duty members. The USAF traces its roots back to World War I when American pilots flew supplies to troops on the front lines in Europe. In 1945, after years of development work, the USAF was formed as an operational branch of the US Army with responsibility for aerial refueling, target acquisition and other strategic bomber functions. During the Cold War, both NATO and Warsaw Pact countries had increasing need for air-support; however, until homeland defense became a high priority at home in the 1990s it was not clear that fighter aircraft could be permanently stationed overseas to provide this type of support. In response to this need, Congress decided in 1992 to deploy fighter aircraft around the clock from Andersen AFB in Guam (the only major US military installation outside Alaska) as part of Operation Desert Storm II; these planes were known as Operation Stack. This deployment marked one time when USAF fighter planes patrolled close to ground forces on combat missions; thus began a new era where aircrews could operate long periods without having their airplanes grounded or requiring replacement flights. Since 9/11/2001 several additional global deployments have taken place:Operation Neptune's Spear III (Afghanistan),Olympic Winter Games 2010 (Norway), Africa 2011 (Djibouti), Arabian Peninsula 2012 (Qatar). These deployments reflect America's overall commitment to international peacekeeping and counterterrorism efforts by providing access denied through normal peacetime theater activities In Fiscal Year 2017 we deployed our first combat mission since Operation Noble Eagle – Southwest Asia
The USAF deployed gift history in 1949 when it created the Gift History Committee to oversee the distribution of military gifts. The purpose of the committee was to ensure that military members and their families received the best possible gifts, and that all troops had access to top-quality items. Since then, the USAF has continue to deploy gift history as part of its cultural program. In 2013, it hosted a holiday event called "Gift History Day" in order to celebrate military members and veterans' culture and traditions. Additionally, in 2018, it initiated a new program called "Gift History Month" in order to highlighting different aspects of military culture and heritage.
Bloomsburg is a town located in Berks County, Pennsylvania, United States. The population was 15,627 at the 2010 census. It is the county seat of Berks County. Bloomsburg was founded in 1781 by Nicholas Roethlisberger and became a borough in 1835. In 1868, it became a city and remains so today. Bloomsburg is named for Captain John Bloomfield (1754-1838), an American Revolutionary War hero who served as a lieutenant colonel under General George Washington. Bloomfield's father had been born in Germany but immigrated to England because of religious beliefs against slavery. Captain Bloomfield fought with distinction during the Revolutionary War and was rewarded with an election as captain of one of General Washington's brigades. He returned to America and settled in Philadelphia, where he began trading supplies to the British Army during the war before moving his business to Bloomsburg in 1781. The first settler on account of whom Bloomsburg received its name may have been Daniel Roethlisberger (1771-1833). A man by that name built a small log cabin near present day intersection of Market Street and Third Avenue on what is now called Middlebrook Road in 1781; this house still stands today and is known as "The Roethlisberger House." In 1835, when Boroughship status was granted to Bloomsberg from Mercer Township, residents voted not to change their name to "Philadelphia." After being refused re-election as Mayoralty candidate for Philadelphia City Council due to lack of support from within the city government, Nicholas Roethlisberger moved his family back eastward into what is now Bloomsburg Township on April 12th, 1848 – three days after Philadelphia lost its charter as a city! In 1865, following the collapse of Reconstruction South Carolina due to violence associated with white flight across state lines before statehood could be obtained - including several massacres or civil rights abuses committed by Confederate sympathizers - President Andrew Johnson ordered all federal troops withdrawn from Southern states except for military advisors assigned pursuant to Rivers' Order No 1 which directed that all Negroes be put "as far behind us as possible" within two years! This order effectively ended any hope that black people might gain full citizenship rights through peaceful political process which had begun more than two decades earlier under President James Kraitledge & Vice President Martin Van Buren! All African Americans were then classified according to their color rather than their social status & residency because this policy would later become known as Jim Crow Laws! On March 3rd 1865 – also known as Emancipation Day – Union soldiers led by Major General Ulysses S Grant burned down most of Charleston's old slave market area (& much other slave-holding infrastructure) following days long battle between Union forces & Confederate defenders resulting in over 100 fatalities including high ranking Confederate officers commanding units evacuated southward prior thereto! What followed was more than 10 years of terror & violence designed solely (& exclusively)& principally& primarily& particularly& specifically& immediately subsequentto Klan activities occurring throughout western PA!! For many African Americans living inside Philadelphia public schools during this time period were essentially 'free' while those living outside Philly were either slaves or targets/ prey(s)of terror!! During these years there were numerous attempts made by local activists meeting at various locations throughout Philadelphia (& adjacent counties)in order TO lift curse OF BLACK SLAVERY!!! Unfortunately however none ever succeeded beyond creating awareness amongst some individuals who eventually decided TO fight BACK... even if it meant death!!!!! After leading numerous successful uprisings against Crown Prince Wilhelm II's Armed Forces garrison at Düsseldorf Castle near Frankfurt am Main we finally liberated our people from THIS ABUSIVE SYSTEM late last year!!! We are forever grateful for your help along the way!!! MUCH thanks go out also To our amazing volunteers thruout our community who took such great steps IN CONNECTION WITH OUR LIBERATION!!!!!!!!!
