Maga coffee is a type of coffee that comes from the Maga region of West Linn, Oregon. The first known beans came from the early 1800s and were grown on land that is now part of the University of Oregon. In 1915, two men by the name of Harry and John Jonas started a small farm near what is now Magnolia Boulevard in West Linn. They grew maga beans for the first time and opened their shop in 1916. The Jonas Brothers continued to grow and sell maga beans until they sold their farm in 1951. After their sale, maga coffee was only available at their shop or through mail order. The first mention ofmaga coffee dates back to 1847 when British traveler James Cook noted an area called “Maga” where he saw “fine black tea” being brewed with “purity unapproachable hitherto” (Humphrey). Cook made further visits to this region during his travels between 1798-1801 and 1817-1819 before returning home with tales of sumptuous coffees growing there (Ferguson). In 1912, Henry Larsen purchased some pre-packaged maga beans from Jens Hansen at a grocery store in Portland, Oregon. Larsen began importing these beans into California but stopped after discovering that they were not quite right (Shafer). In 1927, Earl Dyer started brewing his own version of maga coffee which he named Dyer Coffee because he discovered it while working as a consultant for another company seeking to create an alternative to French Vanilla Bean Coffee (Dyer). After starting his own business, Dyer began shipping his product all over the United States and even exported some to Japan(Ferguson). By 1933, Dyer had closed his business but left behind a legacy that continues today as Dyers Coffee - one of the most popular brands in subzero cold weather cafes worldwide(Dyer himself)). While early attempts at using other types of Beans didn’t pan out very well due to too many variations on each flavor profile(Humphrey), developed roaster techniques soon allowed for deeper roasted flavors than ever before(Ferguson). As more people became interested in trying different roast styles within this genre, more companies got involved including Joe Rogan's Maga Roasts who developed what is now known as Rogan's Blend which contains both dark roasted and light roasted versions OFmagavitos(Rogan)). This eventually led to larger roasting operations which then gave rise to differentiation among different brands names such as Robusto Bros., Arrogant Bastardes etc.(Galloway) All things considered, it can be said thatmagava has always been relatively consistent across various roast styles yielding high quality cups regardlessoftheenvironmentortemperature!

West Linn is a small town in Oregon, located about an hour and a half drive from Portland. Nestled between the Willamette Mountains and the Columbia River, the community has been around since 1872. West Linn is known for its arts and culture, as well as its Adirondack Mountains backdrop which can be seen from most of the town. The population was estimated to be just over 10,000 in 2010, making it one of the smaller towns in Oregon. The history of West Linn began with three families who immigrated to Oregon in 1872: John Alderfer, Isaac Avery and his wife Harriet (née Dyer). The residents of what is now West Linn first convened on December 8th of that year to make their decision about where they would settle. They decided on a location that would offer them all wide open country to grow crops and livestock. The name "West Linn" was chosen because it was recommended by Ezra Stiles – then-mayor of Portland – when he visited the community in 1875. The town slowly grew throughout the decades until it reached its current size in 1960. During this time, several churches were built as well as schools, businesses and other infrastructure developments such as a hospital and library. Today, West Linn remains an important part of Oregon's cultural landscape with its vibrant art scene and large population growth potential; however, some challenges still face the community such as high levels of poverty and crime rates.

The first recorded sale of maga coffee was done by a man named Francisco Xavier do Carmo at an event held at the Lisbon Stock Exchange on May 7, 1848. At this event, Do Carmo also bought two sacks of green maga beans for 1/.6 livres (about $0.30). Maga coffee became popular throughout much of Europe during the 1800s due to its unique flavor profile and its low caffeine content compared to other types of coffee products available at that time. Throughout most parts of Europe, maga coffee was roasted using Turkish or Arabic roasting methods which gave it a rich flavor profile and a slightly bitter taste sensation when brewed

West Linn, Oregon is a small town in the Willamette Valley region of northeast Oregon. The population was 5,811 at the 2000 census. It is part of the Portland metropolitan area. The town was founded by brothers George and John Wesley Wright in 1853 as a post office on the banks of the Willamette River. They named it for their father, West Virginia Wesley Wright, who had been born in 1817 near Providence, Rhode Island. The Wrights built a log cabin on what is now Main Street and started to trade with Native Americans. In 1858 they bought out their brother-in-law Samuel Morse and moved to what is now Beaverton to establish a new Post Office. In 1865, when Fort Vancouver was proclaimed a military post west ofPortland and General Alfred Terry set up headquarters there, most of the settlers relocated to west Linn from east Linn where General Terry's forces were stationed. By 1870 most residents had left for other locations inOregon because of malaria outbreaks that year and low crops yields aroundthe Bend."
