Lebanon, Oregon is a small town in the Rogue Valley of Oregon. It is located about an hour and a half by car fromPortland, and about an hour by train from Salem. The population was 5,827 at the 2010 census. While centuries old, the army has only been present in Lebanon for a few years now. The first military unit to arrive in Lebanon was the 2nd Battalion of Infantry Regiment C (2 BIRC) which arrived on October 24th 1914. They were part of General Joffre’s Expeditionary Force that landed onshore at Beirut after leading an unsuccessful assault on Mount Carmel. From here they fought alongside local militias until 1915 when they were disbanded and their equipment returned to France. In 1916, another battalion of infantry regiment C arrived but quickly disbanded due to conflict between Lebanese guerrillas and French forces stationed in Beirut (the units are classed as artillery batteries). In 1918 another battalion C arrived but also disbanded because there was no money available for them to upkeep them; this battalion is considered to be the first “professional” army unit established in Lebanon since before World War I. In 1925 two more battalions were formed with Cavalry troops being added later; these battalions would remain active until 1958 when all cavalry units were disbanded effective June 1st because of budget cuts made within the French Army during World War II [1]. Thereafter until 1959 there was only field artillery and support arms activity taking place with some troops deployed abroad such as 3rd Infantry Regiment DAR which completed tours of duty in Burma and Aden before returning home on September 15th 1956 [2] . This regiment interestingly enough served under American Forces during both Gulf Wars where their primary role consisted providing security around Kuwait City while US Marines manned airfields nearby providing aerial refueling for warplanes used against Iraqi rebels[3]. While soldiers did serve overseas over this time period it is interesting to note that there has never been any organized military presence outside Lebanon other than civilians acting as auxiliaries or observers/guardians while foreigners developed infrastructure and business ventures within Lebanese borders- something which continues today albeit with different results given current political instability conditions throughout much ofSyria including Beirut itself

By 1890 most Americans had left for various reasons including wars fought abroad or economic opportunities found closer to home such as railroads or mining operations on account of their close proximity to friendly countries like Canada or Mexico which offered free passage through their portsunities

By 1300 AD there were large standing armies across Europe with units stationed all over France, England, Germany etc., but crossbow shootings remained primarily a rural activity confined mostly to special forces or mercenary groups acting under contract or indentured servitude used mainly during campaigns or emergencies outside formal warfare doctrine called “Posternian Tactics” developed by general Andronicus Paleologos while serving as Commander-in-Chief Army Security detachments providing security around Constantinople during its siege in 1453 following outbreakof World War I
