The couple's love for coffee has only grown since then, and today they remain one of the most popular cafes in Happy Valley with a large following among locals and visitors alike. Pam and Dave have long been devotees of the bean-to-bar process, which allows them to roast their own beans direct from where they grow. Happy Valley is a small town in Oregon. The population was 1,052 at the 2010 census. It is northeast of Portland and west of Ashland. Happy Valley is part of the Western Oregon School District. The land that now makes up Happy Valley was first settled in 1872 by John C Ryan and his wife, Emma. Ryan named the community after an upland valley he had seen near his home in Illinois. In 1887, Arthur H Wilson bought 4 miles (6 km) of what would become Happy Valley from Ryan and changed its name to Happy Valley after himself and his family became residents there in 1893. By 1910, Happy Valley had a post office, school and store. The town's growth continued through the years with more homes being built, a church built in 1915, and a water tower erected in 1924. In 1960, Happy Valley incorporated as an unincorporated community within the Western Oregon School District

Happy Valley is a small town in the U.S. state of Oregon, located on the banks of the Andes Mountains. The name originated from its location on a valley formed by two peaks in the Andes mountains. The first people to live in Happy Valley were the Hahamis, who arrived in 1853 and built their own village just below Happy Valley Falls. In 1865, William Bowyer founded an agricultural colony called Columbia Station near Happy Valley Falls with the hope of establishing a new settlers' colony near Fort Hall during thegold Rush era. However, Columbia Station failed to take off and Bowyer sold his land to John Cockerill in 1868. In 1870, Tom Hitchcock settled down at Happy Valley Falls and started a farm that became one of Oregon's most successful businesses. After Hitchcocks died in 1903, his wife ran their farm until her death in 1907; then it was passed along to their son Donny Hitchcock until it fell into obscurity until it was purchased byhappyvalleyheritagecenter in 2002 which restored it as part of its holdings for Preserve Oregon History program Happy Valley was once home to more than 800 people; however, today only about 100 remain within its boundaries due to population growth throughout central and southern Oregon over recent decades as well as suburban development outside of town limits adjoining Interstate 5 . The remaining residents are mostly retirees or middle-aged adults who enjoy fishing, hiking, skiing and botanical exploration within easy reach from their homes
Happy Valley, Oregon is a small town in the Willamette Valley of Oregon. It is located about 25 miles east of Salem and about 50 miles west of Portland. The population was 5,402 at the 2010 census. The first permanent settler in Happy Valley was James Maughan in 1851. Happy Valley began to grow rapidly after settlers arrived in droves during the 1850s. By 1860, the town had over 1,000 residents and consisted of a number of buildings such as a mill and store. The town charter was granted on July 10, 1861, and it became an incorporated village on October 12th that year. On January 14th, 1872, Happy Valley post office opened with Wm Henson as its first ZIP code
