Coffee has been present in Forest Grove for over a century. In 1907, The Oregon Statesman reported on the first coffee beans being grown in Forest Grove. The coffee beans were brought over by Wm. H. Beavers and his son, Will Beavers, who ran a grocery store on Third Street. Mr. Beavers was an early customer of the Forest Grove Coffee Company and is credited with developing the first espresso machine in Oregon in 1912. The Forest Grove Coffee Company continued to serve delicious cups of coffee until 1971 when it closed its doors after many years of serving great coffee to locals and tourists alike. However, some of the legacy of the company can still be seen today as several members of the family continue to operate the business - currently chaired by Mrs. Barbara Cook - providing amazing cupofcoffee to customers every day!

Forest Grove, Oregon is a small city in the U.S. state of Oregon. The population was 3,000 at the 2010 census. It is located on the Willamette River and has a large park called Forest Grove Park that covers over 30 acres (12 hectares). In 1870 entrepreneur Brigham Young founded Arlington Agricultural Company with $5,000 from his paternal grandfather Brigham Young Jr., one of Utah's first millionaires! The company grew rapidly due to its innovative farming techniques including using high-yield varieties of corn, wheat, soybeans and cotton; it also exported goods such as candy bars from Portland across country! Unfortunately for Arlington during World War I when food prices soared due to belligerent Europe, many employees chose instead to enlist in American military units which raised prices even more for consumers back home! During Prohibition local merchants refused service to law enforcement officials – an act that led eventually to their downfall as bootlegging became easier because no one could stop customers from buying illicit alcohol while banned under federal law! However things changed once Neal Beall organized a group of businessmen who purchased liquor licenses from government officials – starting what would become known as Oregon Liquor Control Commission (OLCC)! OLCC soon became one of most effective anti-illegal booze regulators in United States history! Today Forest Grove features some beautiful old homes dating back over 150 years like Herrington House which was built in 1857; Stroudsbury House which was built in 1896; Whitehurst Mansion which was built around 1890; Gibbs Mansion which was completed in 1916; Aspinwall House which was completed around 1900; Gatto Place & Morehouse Place both constructed about 1909; etcetera…most are still standing today thanks largely to community effort Restore Our Heritage program started by city councilmember Heidi Rossi!. One key part of this effort has been restoring these historic houses into working residences again so that residents can enjoy their histories without having them altered or demolished! Many people who live here have ancestry from all over North America via different waves of immigrants who settled here – German, Irish/British/Italian/Dutch/ Swedish etc.; many have chosen not onlyto live here but also help preserve these cultures through volunteerism or donation work. ForestGrovePark features various interesting exhibits on various topics related nature including birds (feathered friends & foe), plants (insects & mushrooms), mammals (wolves, bears & belugas), minerals (clamshells found near waterfalls!), ecology (the role humans play within ecosystems) and more! There are also two golf courses nearby: The Standard Course off US 101A east side adjacent Interstate 5 Sports Complex opened Summer 2013netting 9 holes par 72 with green fees starting at $175 per day (+$27 per round); The Supersized Course west side adjacent I-5R closed Winter 2013netting 9 holes par 72 with green fees starting at $275 per day (+$47 per round). Most importantly though it’s always fun running into your neighbors while playing golf at either course – they just happen to be locals too ;)
